Ah, welcome to the US! To the left is the local emergency room where you can take advantage of not showing proof of citizenship for free health care when your suicide bombing doesn't go off quite as planned (better luck next time)! To the right is the social welfare office where you can pick up your food stamps. Straight ahead is the ACLU office that will represent you in one of your many lawsuits against your imperialistic host nation while you try to destroy it from within.

Aren't multi-culturalism and open borders great?

Don't embarrass yourself by grade school confusion over the meaning of "Caucasian" (IE white racial type); and "from the Caucasus region."

You Travis McGee are an embarrassment.

"We've got 22,000 miles to seal. How would the Border Patrol using wartime rules of engagement stop terrorists from entering, given the staggering 22K miles they would have to cover?"

You're a little behind the curve here...go back and read some of the earlier posts on this thread.

The best explanation of homeland security I've heard goes like this: Nothing (yet) is 100% secure. But if you put up a layered defenes where we reach 80-90% many times over, the effective security gets up close to 99% in a hurry.

What you DON'T do is throw your hands up in defeat, and simply allow millions of unknown foreigners to stroll into your country, IN WARTIME, unchecked.

Good, common sense post. The *problem* is, those in D.C. don't want, and have no desire to stop this invasion of our country. Not part of their plan. They could stop 80 percent of this lunacy in 60 days if they wanted to. Then start going after, with vengeance, the greedy business owners that sit in their back offices counting their profits on the backs of the tax payers.

There's a war on, have you heard about it? You announce and enforce "wartime rules of engagement" instead of the current "designed-to-fail" Keystone Kops ROE.

Travis, last time I looked we were neither at war with Canada OR Mexico. Now if you advocate that then let's get congress to declare war on them and get with the killing.

If you had a point, you would have made it.

Answer the question.

Carl, up in Alaska, is suddenly an expert on the Mexican border, 20 miles from where I sit.

LOL, Carl, LOL. Did I tell you I know ALL about the caribou migration patterns? LOL.

Travis is pretty well respected by many here, including myself. It is you, who are the embarrassment.

The pic at 351 sure looks like a conga line to me. Broad daylight, in the open.

My plan is put the military on the border and stop playing grab ass with economic migrants and the terrorists who can use them for cover.

You say the border can't be "sealed"

I contend that's just a semantic parlor trick to avoid the issue.

First, you focus on the Mexican border where upwards of ONE MILLION unknown and unchecked foreigners will stroll into the USA this year. That's what you do first.

Then you give the Border Patrol "wartime rules of engagement."

There's a war on, have you heard about it?

After we suffer a Beslan (or worse) where the terrorists just strolled in from Mexico, you'll see the borders sealed overnight. Just you watch.

Too bad it'll take a Beslan to shake the cobwebs out of empty skulls.

"Well okay many Greens and Enviro Whackos have agendas different from their stated ones but we could make the eco case. War and politics makes strange bedfellows."

Well, there is always a chance that the Greens will come around but it means they must bust up the left wing coalition whose unwritten law is that every self seeking interest group stays mute while another group puts its snout in the trough. It also means that it must buck its great benefactor, the Rockefeller Foundation, which has put money into converting the nation into a geographical area with open borders. A condition leading inevitably to world government, coincidently, another aim of Rockefeller and the Greens.
