It's interesting to note that that a quick search on the Newtown school district website (http://www.newtown.k12.ct.us) yields no results when searching for the word "Christmas". Also, the site for the Newtown High School itself (http://newtown.nhs.schooldesk.net) contains a rather lengthy list of of its clubs and organizations. Nowhere on the list is mention of any kind of Christian student organization, although there is a "Gay/Straight Alliance". If, indeed, the Christian message has been effectively purged from this school district, it would be very sad.

Everyone should be appalled at the killings which occurred in Connecticut yesterday. There is nothing more evil than a person who would harm innocent children - whether out of hate for an individual or group, or for an ideology.
