After sitting through the much awaited speech. One that touched on many suggestions made by other republicans, yes, even suggestions made by President Bush. The Democrats cheered every time Obama mentioned the very same changes. "W" had made proposed changes to insurance companies practices, he even suggested a pool for small businesses to partake in. Yes even the dreaded liberal favorite - tort reforms. They torched "W" for making the very same proposals. My take is the MAIN problem here is not the public program and any cuts to medicare or other programs to create such a program. We have...

Kieth the thief has called upon his viewers and the Daily Kossacks to go after Glen Beck. Perhaps Freepers can help with some research on Olbermouth. I have posted a link to a site devoted to his lies. This is just too much fun to leave alone.

Just in case you missed this on TV -- or all over the Internet -- here's the video of 'Countdown' host Keith Olbermann blasting his enemy of the week, Fox News conspiracy theorist Glenn Beck. The rant started with Olbermann saying: "The danger of today's version of the mythical homespun aw-shucks-TV-totalitarian-Lonesome-Rhodes Glenn Beck is summed up by remarks today in which he claims that a revolution has begun in this country — a 'stealing of America in the guise of an election' — and his repeated insistence that the President is a Marxist. The comfort of today's mythical homespun aw-shucks-TV-totalitarian-Lonesome-Rhodes...

TV listings: The Prime-Time TV grid in Thursday's Calendar section mistakenly listed MTV's "Jackass" show on the MSNBC cable schedule at 7 and 10 p.m. where instead MSNBC's "Countdown With Keith Olbermann" should have been listed.

MSNBC's Keith Olbermann was a guest last night on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. The majority of the interview revolved around the financial crisis — AIG and Bernie Madoff. Leno asked Olbermann about Rush Limbaugh's support of the AIG execs keeping the bonuses. "You can look at some of the things Rush says on the air and you can find some original point where it started logically, as you suggest," said Olbermann. "That one doesn't make no sense whatsoever."

In a generally unheralded speech about the so-called "stimulus" package, dated February 10, 2009, Senator Tom Coburn (R-OK) said: Let me conclude by saying we are at a seminal moment in our country. We will either start living within the confines of realism and responsibility or we will blow it and we will create the downfall of the greatest nation that ever lived. This bill is the start of that downfall. To abandon a market-oriented society and transfer it to a Soviet-style, government-centered, bureaucratic-run and mandated program, that is the thing that will put the stake in the heart of...

Buried in the Stimulus bill is a provision that will track your medical treatments electronically by a federal system. It also establishes the new bureaucracy, the National Coordinator of Health Information Technology, will monitor treatments to make sure your doctor is doing what the federal government deems appropriate and cost effective. The goal of this coordinator is to “guide” you my doctor’s decisions. This seems a little like 1984. Betsy McCaughey, former lieutenant governor" of New York State has been leading the way, informing the public about this dangerous provision in the bill passed by congress last week. The "man"...

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 'The worst person in the world' -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Posted: January 13, 2009 1:00 am Eastern © 2009 I don't want to say Keith Olbermann doesn't have an audience, but last Tuesday he named me "The Worst Person in the World," and I just found out yesterday. Now, granted, I was out of the country and slightly more out of touch than usual. But it's a pretty sad commentary on the state of MSNBC that the cable network can't even generate heat any more, let alone light. I'll let you watch the Olbermann attack for yourself and make your own...

Mon Nov 10, 2008 - Thought the bailout just extended to a handful of major banks and government sponsored entities? Think again. This from Clusterstock.com: Triple-A rated GE has long been considered as safe an investment as you can get--as safe as, say, houses. But last week's emergency financing, which destroyed tens of billions of dollars of GE shareholder value, caused many observers to revise their opinion of the company's risk profile. And language in GE's most recent 8K should cause everyone to break out in a cold sweat. As of June 30, GE had about $100 billion in short-term...

I suppose the following will be read by some-to-many as a pandering defense of Rupert Murdoch, my boss. I'll risk it. MSNBC's Keith Olbermann, on countless occasions, has ripped Murdoch. Olbermann detests Murdoch's politics and he's never shy to let viewers, bloggers, interviewers and passersby know. Groovy. If only Olbermann, during these anti-Murdoch sessions, would throw in, no matter how briefly, that Murdoch's politics are no different from what they were in November, 1998, when Olbermann went to work for Murdoch's Fox Sports Net.

In the Actions have consequences department, Brian Williams recently told David Letterman that the McCain camp is punishing him by not allowing him to interview Sarah Palin because the McCain camp is mad at MSNBC's extreme leftism as evinced by Chris "Thrill up my leg" Matthews and Keith Olbermann. Is Brian crying? There's no crying in broadcasting! During his visit on The Late Show with David Letterman, Brian Williams admitted that he is the only network anchor that has yet to be granted an interview with Governor Palin but that he "cannot wait" to interview her. As to why he...
