Tulsa Police Bomb Squad officers are on scene at the Oklahoma Air National Guard base after receiving a report indicating a woman was driving around the complex with an unknown device, an official said Monday. Police Sgt. Shane Tuell said officers were dispatched to the Air National Guard, near 46th Street North and U.S. 169, a little before noon because the Guard notified them of the woman's claims. "She hasn't gone on the base itself, but she's claiming to have some type of a device in the vehicle," he said.

our political class is still violating our sovereignty and security with endless migrants from the Middle East. We have so many emergencies within our national security apparatus and military that can and should be addressed within the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), yet the GOP-Senate chose to focus on more immigration as their final act before recess. The Senate passed the Shaheen, D-N.H. (F, 2%) motion to instruct the conference committee negotiating the House-Senate differences in the NDAA to authorize a potentially unlimited amount Special Immigrant Visas (SIV) for Afghanis. Only 12 Republicans opposed the motion, which is non-binding, but...

"He pulled up to the scene. The individual came out between two parked vehicles with a handgun in his hand,” Grady County Sheriff Jim Weir said. “The officer immediately saw the gun, told him to drop it." That's when authorities say the officer pulled out his gun and several times told Vandemark to drop his weapon. "He refused to comply. He was verbally aggressive and belligerent toward the officer,” Weir said. “He finally made an aggressive move and the officer felt his life was in danger and the officer fired one shot, striking the subject. He fell immediately and did...

In a nine-word per curiam decision, eight justices of the United States Supreme Court have revealed they are deadlocked in a 4 to 4 divide on the new immigration procedures of the Obama administration, with its executive decision to not deport the immigrant parents of children born in the United States (thus citizens) and give them legal status but less than citizenship in the process. The State of Texas, joined by 25 others states, filed a lawsuit to block this executive action, which affects between 4 and 5 million immigrants in the United States. The case was before the Supreme...

When she went to clean the table, Stewart says she found not only a big mess, but a $36 ticket with a message instead of a tip. “When I went to pick up the check, I read it and I thought it said `gray is wrong`, and I went and showed my girlfriend, and she was like, 'what?' And she said it said `gay is wrong',” Stewart said. “I was just shocked. I was more shocked than hurt, but I mean it did hurt.”

After a series of messages over several weeks encouraging the listeners to respond to the ‘fire of God’, Pastor Bates waded into the controversy over homosexuality, highlighting it’s sin as compared to Scripture: “I was literally shocked, personally, when I began to see people get up, move out, walk out the door kinda shaking their heads. “ Bates says that the people who were most likely to walk out on a message on the Biblical stance of homosexuality are those people with relationship connections with those in the LGBT community. Be it a son, daughter or parent, many going to...

An Oklahoma woman is furious after she said a campaign sign damaged her vehicle. "As you can see, it shattered it pretty good," said Dawn Byram. Byram was driving back from a friend’s house near 164th and Pennsylvania Ave. on Sunday afternoon when something came flying toward her SUV. "I guess the wind has picked up a little bit and, all of a sudden, the Steve Russell sign is coming right at me and hit my windshield," she said. The damage is going to cost her about $250, which is lower than her insurance deductible, meaning she has pay for...

A snake this large is a clear and present danger to pets and small children.  While most snakes can be dispatched with a shovel or hoe, I would not want to attempt that with this python.  It might take offense. A firearm is a stand off weapon that allows you to apply deadly force at a distance.  A picture with the article shows the python was shot in the head, killing it quickly and humanely. The snake was a surprise for the teen who discovered it. From kfor.com:“I come outside, and the snake is literally slithering in our yard, and...

With all the zeal of a Joey-come-lately, gun-control convert Joe Scarborough clashed on today’s Morning Joe with Second Amendment defender Tom Cole, Republican congressman from Oklahoma. When Scarborough lectured Cole about terrorists “who want to kill people in your district,” Cole shot back “Joe, I know something about terrorism. I lived through an incident in Oklahoma City.” And when Scarborough patronizingly instructed Cole to “read the Constitution,” Cole retorted “I think I’ve read the Constitution as often as you have.” Mike Barnicle waited until after the interview to take a cheap shot at Cole, claiming that he is “handcuffed to...

The furor over Trump’s assaults on the impartiality of a Latino judge had just begun to subside when he lobbed two tweets Friday morning responding to Warren, who had lambasted him as a "thin-skinned, racist bully" in a speech the previous evening. "Pocahontas is at it again!" Trump wrote in one. "Goofy Elizabeth Warren, one of the least productive U.S. Senators, has a nasty mouth."
