I was listening to Rush in the car talking about Ted Cruz's win in Iowa last night. Funeral services for LaVoy Finicum will be held Friday, February 5 in Kanab, Utah, according to the statement. Kanab is located about 40 miles from Finicum's home town of Cane Beds, Arizona. According to a Facebook post on "LaVoy Finicum's Stand for Freedom", the funeral will be at a church house at 1436 S. McAllister Drive with visitation from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and a service from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The post states all are invited to pay their respects.

South Carolina just passed a new bill that will ruin any plan Islamists may have had about dominating the US. In a vote of 68 to 42, the South Carolina House agreed to block Islamic Sharia Law from ever being acknowledged in their state. The new legislation is explained as “a bill to amend the code of laws of South Carolina…so as to prevent a court or other enforcement authority from enforcing foreign law including, but not limited to, Sharia Law in this state from a forum outside of the United State or its territories under certain circumstance.”

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Hundreds of Hoosiers pigged out in downtown Indianapolis for a good cause Saturday. The Crane Bay Event Center just blocks from Lucas Oil Stadium hosted the second annual Bacon Fest. Bacon lovers sampled cured pork creations from more than 20 vendors. Novelties included bacon-wrapped bacon and donuts with bacon and Nutella. VIPig tickets were sold for early entrance to the event. A portion of the money raised at the Bacon Fest was donated to Gleanor’s Food Bank to help feed the needy.

Am I proud to call Oregon my home? You're damn right I am. Do we have problems here? Of course we do, everywhere has problems.
