A senior French police officer investigating the Charlie Hebdo magazine massacre killed himself just hours after the horrific terror attack. Commissioner Helric Fredou, 45, shot himself in his police office in Limoges last Wednesday night, France 3 reported. His body was found by a colleague at 1am on Thursday, hours after the terror attack at the satirical magazine's office which left 12 people dead. It has been reported that shortly before committing suicide Commissioner Fredou had met with the family of one of the victims of the Charlie Hebdo attack massacre.

CHICAGO (CBS) – A Chicago man might think twice the next time he goes into a police station to report something as stolen. On Friday night, 31-year-old Adam Wisneski rode his bike to the Shakespeare District police station on the Northwest Side to report a stolen iPhone. He says he didn’t have his bike lock with him, and asked police if he could leave his bicycle inside the station. They said OK, and he did. He then filled out a police report about the phone.

A man who was shot and killed by San Francisco police officers left behind several suicide notes in his cellphone, including one addressed to police, authorities said Monday. Two plainclothes New York City police officers were shot in the Bronx on Monday night after they attempted to stop a car while responding to a robbery, the police said.
