A 1968 photo taken during a Lunar Orbiter mission to the moon shows what appears to be a spacecraft that is at least 10 miles (16 km) long resting inside the Crater Manlius. The photo was the subject of a Youtube video that was released on October 4 that shows various close ups and light contrasts of the apparent spacecraft. Most of the object is well illuminated by the sun, but the rest is in the shadows of the crater which is approximately 20 miles (34 km) in diameter, What appears to be a spacecraft cockpit is in shadows. According...

Atlanta, GA- Voters throughout the state turned out in record numbers to vote for a referendum to secede from the United States and join Russia. What began when a Tifton resident and Russian decedent (Alexei Sverkunova Johnson) was involved in a bar fight at the 5th Inn Lounge and Wings Place in Tifton, GA two weeks ago has escalated into international incident. Learning of the attack in the Tifton Tribune on Mr. Johnson, Russia President Vladimir Putin immediately dispatched members of the Russian military to parachute into small South Georgia community and stand guard around Mr. Johnson’s home. Witnessing the...

Obama just held an unprecedented late Sunday evening press conference at the White House, to announce that in response to Russian actions in the Ukraine, US athletes would not be allowed to compete in the Sochi Olympics. He also said that he was instructing relevant US agencies to immediately ban the importation of Russian caviar, vodka, and borscht into the US.

National Labor Relations Board lawyers okayed a major union's practice of paying people to protest against Walmart in a legal memorandum earlier this month. The federal labor law enforcement agency said the practice of paying workers $50 apiece to join protests “did not constitute unlawful … coercion of employees.” In a Nov. 15 memorandum from the NLRB's general counsel office regarding the so-called “Black Friday” protests staged by United Food and Commercial Workers against the nonunion retailer last year, the NLRB lawyers determined that the UFCW's offer of $50 gift cards to anyone who showed up to protest “was a...

I need to find a good Mormon monster — one that seeks out non-tithe-payers or feasts on those who drink Diet Coke. A Zion zombie, perhaps, that eats the brains of, you know, the pure in heart. Zombies are really popular this year. “The Mormon Munsters — have you been invited to their family home evening?” Or “The Addams Family with special guest Eve. The mother of all wants you to clean your room.” How about a well-placed mummy — not the kind that makes you do laundry, but the dry, dusty Egyptian variety. After all, Egypt has ties to...

In the nearly two weeks since Egypt’s military seized power, President Obama has promoted a better federal bureaucracy, given a medal to George Lucas of “Star Wars” fame and had former President George Bush to the White House for lunch. What he has not done is publicly address the violent upheaval in Cairo. That is not to say Mr. Obama is uninvolved. In the privacy of the West Wing, away from the cameras, he has made calls to leading figures in the Arab world and has met with advisers trying to influence the crisis. But his low public profile on...

Just turned on the Miami TV, and am thoroughly disgusted. NEARLY every local story appears to be a boo-hoo about how Trayvon was murdered..... NO ONE in Miami, according to the news, thinks Zimmerman was justified in defending himself. Little children, some looked as young as six, were posing for cameras with "no justice, no peace" signs....and "PASTORS" in black churches were reciting the mantra that St. Skittles was hunted..... And the media in Miami is stoking the fire. Agitating, just like their hero.

The parent company of the San Francisco Examiner sued the Hearst Corporation Tuesday, accusing its San Francisco Chronicle of illegally targeting Examiner advertisers with secret, below-cost rates in an attempt to bleed the smaller paper. The San Francisco Newspaper Company, which owns the Examiner, SF Weekly, and the San Francisco Bay Guardian, alleges that the Chronicle offered ad space to advertisers for a fraction of its cost on the condition that the advertisers not buy ads in the Examiner. "Hearst has demanded and obtained agreements from key advertising customers, which preclude those customers from purchasing any advertising space from the...

Even with a darker take on the great American superhero, our favorite costumed good guy is still the man! ‘I grew up in Kansas,’’ says the dimpled superhero of the unabashedly crowd-pleasing blockbuster “Man of Steel’’ as he faces attempted rendition as an enemy alien. “I’m as American as they come.’’ Deploying an impeccable American accent, Brit Henry Cavill may be as charming as the late great Christopher Reeve — or Reeve’s unfortunate doppelganger Brandon Routh, who donned a more traditional Superman costume in “Superman Returns,’’ an underrated attempt to reboot the franchise seven years ago.

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — Louisiana congressman Charles Boustany won a fifth term on Saturday by handily defeating his fellow Republican incumbent, Jeff Landry, in a runoff election. The two men were forced into the same district when Louisiana lost a congressional seat because of anemic population growth in the latest federal census. The state will have six U.S. House seats in the new term that begins in January.

President Obama's campaign on Friday tweeted out a picture of Obama sitting in a chair marked "the president" along with the line: "This seat's taken." The tweet follows Mitt Romney's official acceptance of the GOP presidential nomination at the Republican National Convention on Thursday night, as well as a unique speech by Actor Clint Eastwood. Eastwood, who spoke before Romney's introduction by Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), addressed an empty chair on stage throughout his speech, saying "Mr. Obama" was sitting there.

President Barack Obama admitted Friday in a radio interview broadcast that he yearns for a "weird superpower"—the ability to speak any language. But flying might be cool, too. Obama, speaking to the "Morning Mayhem" crew on 93.3 KOB FM in Albuquerque, also came out in favor of red chili over green, said the best advice he ever got was "be persistent" and revealed that he has never heard the original version of Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe" but has watched a gone-viral video of himself performing it. It’s a bird! It’s a plane! No, it’s an incumbent president in...

"Don't blame Wall Street, don't blame the big banks, if you don't have a job and you're not rich, blame yourself. It is not someone's fault if they succeeded, it is someone's fault if they failed,"___ Herman Cain Of course Herman Cain, former ringleader of the Federal Reserve would say something like that, especially when the Federal Reserve and its un-constitutional money monopoly is in defiance of our founding fathers expressed intentions, and is used to plunder what America‘s Businesses and labor have produced. And what did Daniel Webster have to say regarding working people: "Of all the contrivances for...
