London police officers that patrol local "beats" carry no firearms!!! This has been a practice for over 100 years. They do carry "night sticks", but that is no effective replacement for the lack of loaded firearms!!! There were multiple reports from civilians and onlookers at yesterday evening's massacre of innocent around London Bridge, that local "community" police ran from the Muslin murderers, because they had no firearms to protect themselves and the public!!! If this is true, it is certainly a sorry state of affairs, and should be corrected immediately by the Mayor of London or the Prime Minister!!! The...

Wonderful and informative discussion thread on the historically-accurate and varied guns in AMC's current tv series "The Son." For example: "....hello all I was the armorer on THE SON. The Lewis gun was Adopted buy Belgium in 1912 and the British soon after so its use in 1915 not a stretch. Eli's Pistol is a 1911 Colt 45 ACP, it is a true repo of a 1911 (Cimarron WILD BUNCH 1911) not a 1911 A1 which wasn't introduced till 1921 .. The extended 351cal 1907 WIN SLR mags are 10 rounders. In eps 5 Sally holds Pete's 1st Model Hand...

Chicago police are used to facing the possibility of death every time they put on their badges. But it's safe to assume they paid special attention to the alert on police radio channels Monday advising them to "expect a heightened presence of Satan Disciples" in the Brighton Park neighborhood on the city's Southwest Side. The real news: "This gang is in possession of numerous military-style rifles that are capable of piercing police protection." Shootings in Chicago, as in most places, are usually done with handguns, which have the advantage of being relatively inexpensive and easy to conceal. But in recent...

If you believe that the government can't confiscate 200 million guns in a single year, you have never seen The Minority Report, you don't take account of high-tech that can locate your guns wherever they're locked away, technology that can see through walls as if they were open to air. I'm in the middle, I admire the self-reliant yeomanship of gun owners. At the same time, I listen to the other side. I knew of Gabrielle Giffords before she was shot. (I was reading about her because I wanted to understand the thinking of pro-abortion libertarians.) I got rid...

The Black Aces FIREARM is what the ATF calls it. The "firearm" by Black Aces Tactical has all the characteristics of a short shotgun, without the name. It shoots 2 3/4" shotgun shells, uses a pump for cycling, and even leaves a big hole in whatever it shoots. But the ATF's own wording was used to design a firearms that cannot be called a shotgun, an SBS, an SBR, a pistol, an AOW. If you still didn't get that, this firearm is not a shotgun, it is not a short-barrel shotgun, it's not a short-barrel rifle, it's not a short-barrel...

More than 10 years ago, my friend Mark Seiden called me in on a murder case in Miami that Janet Reno, then State’s Attorney for the county in question, had ordered prosecuted. A woman named Mary Hopkin had killed her common law husband, a man named James Yarolem.[snip] The cops arrived. When Jim came back Metro-Dade officers were there. They arrested him. When they dragged him away, the cops testified later, he was screaming “Mary, you f—in’ bitch, I’ll kill you for this!”
