The“Family Feud” contestant who was convicted of his ex-wife’s murder after he trashed his marriage on the popular game show is still defending a tasteless joke he made on the program about regretting saying “I do.” Timothy Bliefnick, 40, addressed the infamous quip in his first interview since he was sentenced in August to life in prison for the gruesome murder of his wife, Rebecca “Beck” Postle Bliefnick, whom he shot 14 times. “It wasn’t said with any malice or bad intentions. It was supposed to be funny,” he told Erin Moriarty of “48 Hours” in an upcoming episode, which...

First of all i cannot imagine the hate that must go into the thinking that you want to "shut down Trump supporters" ... at thanksgiving-really Thanksgiving?!. And I know these numbers don't make sense with record low unemployment but I need some help deconstruct job growth numbers: Here's article: Today hundreds of millions of Americans will sit down with close friends and family over heaping portions of turkey, stuffing and mashed potatoes. After the usual small talk about chilly weather and the day’s football matchups, discussions will inevitably shift to politics. In a country bitterly divided over the Trump presidency...

Rep. John Conyers (D-MI), the longest serving member of the House of Representatives and the subject of a flurry of sexual-misconduct allegations in the last few weeks, said he was "retiring today" during a radio interview Tuesday. "I'm in the process of putting my retirement plans together and I'll have more of that very soon," Conyers said in an interview with the station, Praise 102.7. No sooner had he announced plans to vacate his seat, however, than an intra-family feud erupted into public view over who would take it over. The embattled Michigan Democrat said on Tuesday that he wanted...

I was excited that I had finally convinced my black family who usually votes Democrat to join the Trump Train. Then, one of my brothers said recent comments Hillary made about Trump's huge ego concerned him. A Christian, my brother quoted scripture concerning Trump, “Pride goes before a fall.” He was considering jumping off the Trump Train. Hillary, the queen of deception, attacking Trump's character angered me. I fired back at my brother. “Trump may be full of pride, but the guy never left Americans to die for political gain!” I continued my rant about Hillary. After hanging up the...

Pies-in-face attack roils anarchist-vegan world Demian Bulwa, Chronicle Staff Writer (03-16) 18:30 PDT SAN FRANCISCO -- An ex-vegan who was hit with chili pepper-laced pies at an anarchist event in San Francisco said Tuesday that her assailants were cowards who should direct their herbivorous rage at the powerful - not at a fellow radical for writing a book denouncing animal-free diets. Lierre Keith, a 45-year-old Arcata resident, was attacked at 2:15 p.m. Saturday at the 15th annual Bay Area Anarchist Book Fair while discussing her 2009 book, "The Vegetarian Myth." A 20-year vegan, Keith now argues that the diet is...

I'm watching a new version of "FAMILY FEUD" right now(with host John O'Hurley) with my son on the Ion Channel, and one of the questions the host asked the families was the following: "What Person Has Made A Difference In Our Lives?" There were 5 answers to the question, and the answers were, in order of importance, as follows: 1 - Martin Luther King, Jr. 2 - Oprah Winfrey 3 - Bill Clinton 4 - Benjamin Franklin 5 - Jesus I was aghast. First of all, I want to know who the hell they surveyed. If this show surveys 100...

I know this is stupid, but... I've had Game Show Network on today, here and there while getting stuff done and have caught a couple of episodes of "Family Feud" with Richard Karn as the host. One question was something about favorable presidents, and when a contestant said "Ronald Reagan," Karn chortled, "Maybe some people liked him." I have the channel back on now and it's a different episode. The question was about characters real or fictional who go by "Dick." A contestant said, "Our vice-president, Dick Cheney," and immediately Karn looked at others (maybe others in the contestant's family)...

JERUSALEM, June 12 — Hundreds of Palestinian security personnel loyal to the Palestinian leader, Mahmoud Abbas, went on a rampage Monday night in the West Bank town of Ramallah, attacking the parliament and cabinet buildings controlled by his rivals in the Hamas-led government. The Ramallah buildings were not occupied at the time, but the fire gutted a floor of one of the two cabinet buildings after the security forces, joined by gunmen from Al Aksa Martyrs Brigades, part of the Fatah movement, shot out the windows of the parliament building and tried to prevent firefighters from entering the area. In...

GAZA, June 10 (Reuters) - Gunmen shot dead a Palestinian security officer loyal to President Mahmoud Abbas on Saturday in an attack his comrades blamed on the rival Hamas group. A gun battle between members of the Preventive Security Service and Hamas militants later erupted at the funeral of Major Basim al-Qutub and witnesses said at least three people were wounded in an incident involving a top security chief. Inter-factional fighting has become commonplace in the Gaza Strip since Hamas, an Islamic militant group dedicated to Israel's destruction, assumed power after crushing Abbas's long-dominant Fatah faction in a January election....
