Police are praising a brave man who intervened and saved a woman being viciously attacked by four dogs Sunday morning. The 54-year-old woman was walking her dog in an alley in the central Edmonton neighbourhood of Spruce Avenue, when she was surrounded by a pack of several medium to large-sized dogs. She was seriously injured and taken to hospital with multiple bite wounds to her legs, back and arms. Animal Care and Control seized the four dogs believed to have attacked the woman. A 3-year-old German shepherd named Max that went missing following an attack by a pit bull named Red in Sacramento is back home with his family, FOX40 reported. In footage captured by a passing motorist’s dashboard camera, Red can be seen nipping at Max as the pit bull’s owner, Mike Lindstrom, tries to pacify the dog on Sunday afternoon. A dog that was stolen from its owners at gunpoint has been found roaming a South Florida street. India, a 9-year-old Yorkshire Terrier, was found Friday morning walking down West Dixie Highway in Hollywood. The dog was identified by her microchip after Hollywood code enforcement officers found her and took her to the Hollywood Animal Hospital.
