Are we sure that isn’t green curry in that little bottle?

There's a lot of dog lovers in Thailand. Especially since the King published a book about his dog (which was adopted off the street.)

I see although he is near the end of life, he still cares about that dog or perhaps it is her offspring

But it's true dog meat is popular in one province. Most Thais, though, find the idea of eating dog as disgusting as we do.

Wow, total acceptance and relaxation by that Golden!

My dog was excellent with baths, but I do not think she would accept lying on her back for it!

That is so cute! And his doggie friend looks like he wants to join the massage. I can’t say that my Golden was ever so docile, but he took the baths pretty well once he realized that it wasn’t going to hurt.

In the beginning he had to be dragged to the bathtub. Later on he would just climb right in, but it took a couple of years to reach that point of trust.

I never saw a dog enjoy a bath like that!

The caption was “Warm bath” yet the owner at one point said “cool”. It might have meant “too cool”, but I think the opposite.

There are two dogs just a few houses away (I live in Thailand also) that spend endless hours in pools of water that collect on the road. I guess to cool down. Maybe that is something to do with this guy’s enjoyment level of his bath - he was cooling down also.

It must be the warm water. No wonder my dog comes slinking when she sees me with the garden hose, shampoo and towel.

I bathed 2 of my 4 yesterday but I don’t think it was quite like that.

One of my Goldens would go hunting with my husband. She really didn’t like it much — a little gun shy. When she got tired, she’d just go back to the truck and find a puddle underneath where the heat of the engine had melted the snow. She’d lie down in the puddle and wait until the hunters returned. When she’d stand up, icycles would be dripping off of her coat. She didn’t seem to mind at all.

My house is fully carpeted, except for a few places. The Goldens would seek out those bare floors and nap there when they got too hot.
