Disney Parks have installed metal detectors and banned the sale of toy guns and costumes for anyone over the age of 14, as of Thursday. So much for my wife and I packing the Chip and Dale costumes for our big trip. E! UPDATE: Various sites are reporting that Disneyland has begun installing metal detectors at the Anaheim parks as well. Universal Studios Hollywood will also install metal detectors, according to the Orange County Register. The Disneyland Resort in Anaheim made a few changes to its rules overnight Thursday, Dec. 17, according to fan site Dateline Disneyland. Two new rules were updated on the Disneyland park rules website: guests over the age of 14 will not be allowed to wear costumes and toy guns are now prohibited from the resort.
