UPDATE: Various sites are reporting that Disneyland has begun installing metal detectors at the Anaheim parks as well. Universal Studios Hollywood will also install metal detectors, according to the Orange County Register.

Will pop tarts be removed from all food vendors as well? No telling what shapes people may eat into them.

Boycott all Disney products, parks and movies due
to their mistreatment of workers.

Guns don't kill people Woody.

Bullets kill people.

Guns just make 'em go really fast.

Did they demolish and replace Frontierland?

The shooting gallery was one of my favorites.

Interesting. I was there just prior to Thanksgiving (worst time to visit - way too crowded), and they were still selling toy guns all over the park.

How about “light sabers” and Stormtrooper laser guns? Are they prohibited too? Doubt it. Dizzyland would be losing bigtime in souviner sales.

Challenge to Disney and Universal:

I f you truly believe in this cause, immediately BAN ALL GUNS AND WEAPONS FROM ALL PRODUCTIONS! Including the practice of having ARMED SECURITY GUARDS!

The shooting gallery was one of my favorites.

It was up and running less than four weeks ago. But, that was four weeks ago, not sure what they're going to do now.

What’s going to happen to the Buzz Lightyear ride? They no doubt planning to sell a ton of light sabres in Tomorrowland too I would suppose.

CEO should fire the chief of parks.

Wow.

Think of all the merchandising money they will lose out on from the upcoming Star Wars movie!
