UPDATE: Various sites are reporting that Disneyland has begun installing metal detectors at the Anaheim parks as well. Universal Studios Hollywood will also install metal detectors, according to the Orange County Register.
The Disneyland Resort in Anaheim made a few changes to its rules overnight Thursday, Dec. 17, according to fan site Dateline Disneyland.
Two new rules were updated on the Disneyland park rules website: guests over the age of 14 will not be allowed to wear costumes and toy guns are now prohibited from the resort.

Boycott all Disney products, parks and movies due
to their mistreatment of workers.
Boycott Disney. Every one who goes there will be a target in a gun free zone.

Interesting. I was there just prior to Thanksgiving (worst time to visit - way too crowded), and they were still selling toy guns all over the park.
They didn’t say anything about Muslim Suicide Vests!
How about “light sabers” and Stormtrooper laser guns? Are they prohibited too? Doubt it. Dizzyland would be losing bigtime in souviner sales.
Challenge to Disney and Universal:
I f you truly believe in this cause, immediately BAN ALL GUNS AND WEAPONS FROM ALL PRODUCTIONS! Including the practice of having ARMED SECURITY GUARDS!

It was up and running less than four weeks ago. But, that was four weeks ago, not sure what they're going to do now.
What’s going to happen to the Buzz Lightyear ride? They no doubt planning to sell a ton of light sabres in Tomorrowland too I would suppose.
CEO should fire the chief of parks.

Think of all the merchandising money they will lose out on from the upcoming Star Wars movie!
