One of the world’s largest oil companies has not only donated tens of thousands of dollars to one of the world’s biggest abortion companies, but it blocked a shareholder resolution complaining about it. Tom Strobhar, Chairman of Life Decision International, which monitors companies that donate to Planned Parenthood, said the corporation blocked a resolution by a teacher from Chicago complaining about the donation. Responding to that, Strobhar, following the teacher’s lead and hoping to force Chevron to list the groups it supports so information about its $26,000 check to Planned Parenthood could be further brought to light filed his own...

Whatever Barack Obama has to say about “climate change” (formerly known as “global warming”) is a lie. It would be nice to have a President and a government we could trust.

From former clinic worker and clinic director Carol Everett: “It was always difficult to find and train telemarketers who could call themselves “counselors” while selling abortions. “We’re helping women,” I had to remind them constantly. Those who didn’t buy my pitch quickly left. I started to believe my own rhetoric. I had to be convincing in order to persuade my telephone counselors, but each time I met with Chuck, I was quickly snapped back to reality. We were in the business of making money, a lot of it.” Carol Everett with Jack Shaw, Blood Money (Oregon: Multnomah Press Books, Questar...

Here is a story from a victim of incest who opposes abortion in cases of rape and incest: She was abused by her brother and also by an older friend of the family. Here is her story in her own words: “About three or four months after the abuse began, I was late for a period. I told my brother this, and he informed me that I “should’ve made guy wear a rubber, you idiot.” [Referring to the family friend's abuse] I did not know what a “rubber” was, or where it was worn, or why. All I knew was...

“It was not an obvious case of child abuse, she came in with her mother. It was legal. It was out front.” Abortionist Benjamin Graber on why he didn’t report the case of a pregnant 10-year-old to authorities. The girl came in for an abortion, and he performed it on her and send her home. Two years later, the girl’s father was arrested for child molestation. Kevin Allen, “Doctor May Face Inquiry Unreported Abortion May Have Broken Law” Sun Sentinel Jan 11, 1989 This is yet another case where a young victim of incest was brought the abortion clinic, aborted,...

Genetic “counselors” are medical personnel that walk women and their partners though testing (usually amniocentesis) to see if their unborn babies have a genetic illness or disability. If a woman is at risk for having a baby with a disability, or if they already know that they are pregnant with one, these genetic counselors are supposed to be unbiased in helping them decide whether or not to abort. In reality, there are subtle ways that this type of “counselor” can influence a woman’s decision. From one genetic counselor: As a counselor, I consider it my job to accompany my patients...

KeepAndBearArms.com — The Phoenix Federal Bureau of Investigation created a flyer some time back during Clinton's Presidency, asking the recipients to help them fight domestic terrorism. I received one of these flyers this past weekend at the Arizona "Freedom in the 21st Century" gathering. The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office (Greater Phoenix, Arizona) and the Maricopa County Attorney were placed on the flyer, as well — before they saw the actual wording of the flyer — in an effort by the FBI to "work jointly with local law enforcement." Called the Joint Terrorism Task Force, the program was created, presumably, to...

Luhra Tivis Worked with Dr. George Tiller, the infamous late-term abortionist who was assassinated a few years ago. (An act that was condemned by all mainstream pro-life groups). She says of her time working there: “It became apparent to me, after about eight weeks, that something was horribly wrong. I was frightened by what I saw. These late abortions were not, as Dr. Tiller had told me, being done for compelling medical reasons. Viable babies were being destroyed simply on demand. Week after week, I saw in the medical records the clear evidence of a violence beyond anything I could’ve...

During this National Adoption Month, a pro-abortion website called “RH Reality Check” released an article entitled Adoption Is Not a Universal Alternative to Abortion, No Matter What Anti-Choicers Say. The point seems to be to assuage pro-choice advocates who like abortion more than adoption– a feat during National Adoption Month (November), when adoption advocates flood the internet with positive stories. Adoption must be confusing to abortion advocates. It’s a choice that, instead of asking What do I want right now?, asks, What is best for the person who depends on me for his everything? Contrasted with the egocentric nature of...

[Summary; Ray Rice made a mess of his life. Arguably, David Coleman is making a mess of American education.]....Early morning hours. They got drunk and had a fight. She spit on him and hit him. He hit her back. She was unconscious on the floor. A punch or a slap? Too drunk to stand up? Initially, the event was treated as a trivial physical altercation. A month later they got married. Next, Rice was indicted on a third-degree assault charge and accepted into a first offender’s program. Now the wife was saying, please leave us alone and stop talking about...

Sometimes I watch (well, mostly listen to) obscure movies that have been ripped onto YouTube. I do this in the hope of finding some overlooked "gem." As you can imagine, such a gem is rare indeed; in fact, so far, I've not found a single one. But earlier today, I did find something that might actually be called interesting. It was in a movie called The Omega Code, which was released in October 1999, obviously timed to coincide with the coming of the new millennium. It is a very bad movie. It's like an end-of-days, "Antichrist Comes In The 21st...

In a story by Margo McDiarmid—apparently now the “Environment Reporter” at CBC News (Canada’s state broadcaster)—the findings of a recent survey on the views of Canadians towards climate change are reported. The survey results, which can be obtained directly online, were done by the Environics Institute for Survey Research in partnership “with the David Suzuki Foundation, which helped to pay for the cost of this year’s research.”

The National Rifle Association is promising supporters it will carry on the fight against Initiative 594, using its “philosophically supportive majority” in the Washington Legislature when it convenes in January. “We are already discussing legislative remedies to the most onerous provisions,” the NRA said in a letter to supporters. The Gun Lobby’s big gun defends the effort it made in opposing I-594, which requires criminal background checks for those purchasing firearms at gun shows and over the Internet. It blames billionaires the measure’s landslide passage. “Please bear in mind that, in our fight to defeat I-594, NRA faced unprecedented spending...

Easily the strangest of all the documents that have emerged from the Darren Wilson grand jury is the one attributed to Witness 40. These are the pages pulled from her -- I assume her based on writing style -- diary entries from the day Michael Brown was shot, August 9, 2014. She does not appear to have been interviewed. On the face of things, Witness 40 fully corroborates the testimony of Officer Wilson. I leave the grammar uncorrected. “The cop was wobbling,” she wrote from her anxious perch in a silver Pontiac stopped behind Wilson’s car, “the big kid turned...

For years, we have been warned about solidifying a new Axis of Evil between Russia, China and Iran. It is now fully formed and growing in strength. Already Russia and China’s militaries have grown arguably more powerful than ours if you consider their nuclear arsenals and Obama’s rigorous gutting of our military stockpiles and forces. The purge continues daily. All the while a military/security pact has flourished among the Axis of Evil players via the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. Unlike the US, our enemies realize that the Cold War never ended… it shifted and put on a new face. We must...

On Twitter, ISIS Supporters Call To Use Ferguson Protests As Cover For Lone-Wolf Attacks Tuesday, 25 November 2014 By Rebecca Bynum MEMRIIn light of the protests in Ferguson, MO, in Ferguson itself and throughout the U.S., a pro-Islamic State (ISIS) social media group has called upon ISIS supporters in the U.S. to use the protests as a cover to carry out lone-wolf attacks. Al-Nusra Al-Maqdisiyya, a prominent group of pro-ISIS activists on social media, wrote on its Twitter account: "O lone mujahid, you must use the breakdown of security in #Ferguson to increase the burning in America. They are...

For those of you in Oregon, this is of special importance for you. Anti-gun extremists brag about how many people are denied gun purchases under the current system but never talk about how many of those people are denied with no justification because of an inept bureaucracy. The State Police’s own figures show that almost all “denials” are unjustified. Forcing me to run a background check on a friend or loved one before I give them a firearm will do nothing to prevent felons from obtaining weapons. It is clear that the entire purpose of this kind of bill is...
