  • Democrats Willing to Throw Endless Number of Liberal Men Overboard to Get Trump

The accusers are evidently too dense to realize they may be next.

And how many men are going to decide that women in the workplace are too dangerous to have anything to do with?

    Lots.

Get the popcorn ready and watch the fallout.

Not a ballot initiative; they are using the "short session" that was authorized to tweak budgets to ramrod things.

Time to repeal that and take them back to an even shorter session every two years.

BUT unless it goes through as an "emergency" measure, a petition can throw it onto the ballot where the voters have at least an opportunity to shoot it down.

That says it all about Jackson, I’ve read that before and believe it.

This is not the first time for Jackson and this.

Just about 15 years ago he did the same thing.

Scott McNealy of Sun Microsystems took Jackson up on the challenge and said that if Jackson would send him the resumes of as many qualified black engineers as he could, that McNealy would hire ALL of them.

Not another word out of Jackson until now.

    Funny how that works ...

When we are forced to pay for other peoples birth control, forced to subsidize women who have out of wedlock children those are not just social but fiscal issues.

Simple problem, simple solution. Stop the welfare checks. If people have to be responsible for themselves then the social issues take care of themselves. Piece of cake.

    When do we get started?

The religious infighting on this site is ridiculous.

No kidding. Its no wonder we can't get anywhere.

THIS very conservative agnostic would like to see most of the Federal Government disassembled, abortion severely restricted if not outright prohibited, and freedom of worship (or not to worship) in the public square enforced and restrictions removed on the exercise of the Second Amendment among other conservative positions.

But some people here say that makes me a liberal.

One trick they use is to send data that's way too big for the buffer (sort of like the "inbox") so that the data overflows into areas of memory it's not supposed to go to.

Its not that clever. Buffer overflows have been used since Sendmail came out in the 1980s. Its old hat now. Sendmail ran as root. Guess what file they went after? That's right. Send your stuff straight to the passwd file.

Never let anyone code using gets() and you'll take care of mot of those.

The wilding has just begun, and we still have people in the GOP consultant class that think we should sit back and do nothing..........

They should be recruiting fresh legions of voters. Idiots. That can be done with nothing but talk and a "Well, if you don't like it, come join us. We want to do something about it but we need you to do it!"

    Idiots. Squandered opportunity.

This is a clear kind of abuse that is predictable in this environment where every mental illness related to sexuality is something to be celebrated rather than treated.

    Yes.

Two things need to be present that do not seem to be present:
    1) A professional diagnosis of gender dysphoria and a letter from a licensed psychiatrist.
    2) The kid doesn't appear to be PRESENTING as female.

Both of those should be required before considering referring to the kid as "transgendered". There should be zero consideration of a claim until those two items are present. Heck, I'd even add in there a written plan for HRT and, if of age - a copy of the blood workup showing the kid is actually going through HRT just to show they're serious.

We have had some transgendered people in my workplace before. HR required documentation in quantity and then double-checked the validity of it. I don't see how the schools can require any less.

They can’t argue Law of the Land crap, when the President isn’t following his own law.

My usual response is to give an 8th Grade Civics Lesson about Separation of Powers.

Then respond to their objections by going back to the roadmap of separation of powers and adding in the shutdown under Reagan where Tip O'Neill defunded the MX Missile where Reagan brought them all to the table and hammered out a settlement.

I have yet to have a liberal who doesn't explode at that point screaming about how the President doesn't have to negotiate. At that point I ask them if we are a Dictatorship or not. Hysterics then ensue and I finish it off by saying that Leaders aren't afraid to go to the table and LEAD the negotiations. Bullies, on the other hand, can't handle that task.

They can't handle actual history and they can't handle 8th Grade Civics and they can't handle their God Obama being compared to a schoolyard bully.

Speaker Boehner shows more maturity than some people here on FR give him credit for.

I think what the Tea Party folks have been going through has finally dawned on Boehner now that he is the new favorite target - which he is dealing with quite well.

The battle cry of the Tea Party is that we demand our place at the table and to be heard. Boehner now knows what it is like to make that demand and have it fall on deaf ears.

You're watching a man have an epiphany here and as such, I think we might actually be seeing a real leader being born.

Let’s hope it produces a massive revolt, like that one that got the original Medicare prescription drug benefit repealed.

If you want to kill Obamacare deader than a doornail, find a plaintiff who has zero income and incurs the penalty.

The penalty is $95 or 1% of income, whichever is greater.

With $0 income, that $95 becomes a direct tax and is therefore unconstitutional. It is no longer an income tax once it hits someone without an income. You can't tax zero!

At the very least the individual mandate will fall then if not the whole thing. Once the mandate falls, the premiums will skyrocket and it truly will be the "UNaffordable Care Act"

The House can send CR’s to the Senate for essential services such as SS, ATC, National Parks, Homeland Security and the Senate will have to pass them. The House can then just not get around to funding the ACA.

A winning strategy. Boehner can then say, "As the President said, we have a duty to pay the country's bills. The House will continue to send continuing resolutions to the Senate ensuring the Country's bills are paid."

I think the house should break down the funding bill and pass it is separate chunks

I agree! Every funding bill will then be "clean" as King Obama and his court jester Harry Reid demand.

"We caved," the House GOP can say. "We gave them everything they demanded. They wanted clean funding bills and we gave them clean funding bills."

It is way way too late for this to succeed though.

I don't think so. The front pages of CNN and Politico and everywhere else are filled with headlines saying the Dems are happy to force a shutdown.

    So be it.

If someone rejects your offer completely, you don't compromise with yourself. You send back the exact same thing. That sends a message that the other side better give somewhere or you are not budging.

Alternatively you can simply carve it up into smaller chunks.

What is wrong with sending the Senate multiple CRs - each one funding specific items, then conveniently forgetting to send a CR over that funds Obamacare?

That would drive Reid absolutely insane if a hundred "clean" CR bills were sent to the Senate.

The House could say, "We sent over 'clean' bills. What's their problem? The President asked for 'clean' bills. We provided them."

Let it happen and when the people finally figure out what this means they'll be primed to vote on it.

In the campaign season, also trot out plenty of low-income people who have to choose between food and Obamacare.

Basically, use the Dems own playbook against them.

Have you seen these ridiculous policies? $400 a month for a $3200 deductible? No wonder people are saying they can afford the policy but they can't afford to use it.

There's your campaign ad right there. Just add a can of dog food and a spoon for effect.

Who decides what a ‘lawful order’ is?

A judge, long after the fact.

There are good cops and bad ones. This one seems on his way to "bad" but not quite there yet.

Bad cops are like the kind who wanted to confiscate one of my musical instruments at a traffic stop because I could not immediately produce a receipt for it.

That encounter did not end well for that cop.
