A cargo plane carrying at least three people crashed into a bay in the southeastern part of Texas on Saturday, officials said. The Federal Aviation Administration released a statement confirming that a twin-engine Boeing 767 cargo jetliner crashed into Trinity Bay near Anahuac, Texas about 12:45 p.m.

A newlywed couple died in a helicopter crash late Saturday in Texas — shortly after their wedding ceremony. Will Byler, of Bellville, and Bailee Ackerman, of Orangefield, were killed "as they flew off in the family helicopter" as they left their "fairy tale wedding," a family friend wrote in a Facebook post. The deal is worth $87.5 million over four years, a significant pay upgrade for the Super Bowl-winning quarterback. Alex Rocco, the veteran tough-guy character actor with the gravelly voice best known for playing mobster and Las Vegas casino owner Moe Greene in The Godfather, has died. He was 79. A photographer named Matthew Munson took several photos during a recent visit to Washington, D.C., and one in particular is stirring up conversation about American history, parenting, and respect. Munson shared his photos to Facebook, and there's some standard DC fare—that obelisk called the Washington Monument, some military memorials. At about 5:10 pm Pasco Police arrived in the area of 10th and Lewis in response to a complaint of a disturbance where a male was throwing rocks at cars. As officers made contact with the male suspect a confrontation started. Two officers were assaulted by the suspect and a Tazer was used but not successfully. The suspect continued to not comply with the officers and at one point threatened them, forcing the officers to fire their handgun. The male died at the scene.
