With 2/3 of the ballots counted in Virginia, McDonnell (R) is pounding Deeds (D) 61%-39%. The last Rasmussen poll had McDonnell ahead 54%-41%. There's a big difference between a 22% win and a 13% win. As I suspected would be the case, it appears the GOP, especially conservatives are HIGHLY motivated, while the democrats are not.

News that the White House is ready to abandon the "public option" has the 'rats and the DUmp depressed and desperate. In fact, I think a few of them need some "end of life counseling"...

"MICHAEL SCHIAVO, Terri Schiavo's husband, finally went on national television last night to tell the world his side of the story. Appearing on "Larry King Live," he strived mightily to play the loving husband. Until more than half way through the interview, when King got around to tentatively asking Schiavo whether or not it is true that he has a girlfriend. (King, who must have known the answer, somehow failed to mention that Schiavo has already sired two children with this woman, who he calls his fiancé.)"...

Scholars debate whether the Star of Bethlehem is a legend manufactured by the early church or a miracle which marked the advent of Christ. But if the Star was a real astronomical event, what could it have been? IT'S AN ASTRONOMICAL MYSTERY. A strange star is claimed to have appeared at the birth of Jesus of Nazareth. This site is an investigation of the story found in the Biblical Gospel of Matthew, a story often called the 'Star of Bethlehem.' It brings the words of Roman and Jewish historians alongside the visions of ancient prophets. It mixes "modern" mathematicians with...

Players involved in the notorious 60 Minutes II story, reported by Dan Rather, which employed dubious documents regarding President Bush’s National Guard service, may have been rooting for a John Kerry victory. No, it wasn’t that old bugaboo liberal media bias as much as it was a bias toward saving their own skins. The report from an internal investigation into the documents mess was purposely being held until after the election. Pre-election, the feeling in some quarters at CBS was that if Kerry triumphed, fallout from the investigation would be relatively minimal. The controversial piece’s producer, Mary Mapes, would likely...

Losing the election and word getting out the Clinton told Kerry to back the anti-gay marriage issue is just too much for these DUmmies to handle.

Washington is abuzz today with talk that Attorney General John Ashcroft will soon resign. The conservative Ashcroft, a born-again Christian who has enraged the left, has suffered from pancreatitis and other health problems. Among the names being bandied about as a replacement: popular former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani, who campaigned hard for President Bush's re-election. Former California governor Jerry Brown noted on Fox News Channel early this afternoon that Bush's conservative base might find it hard to accept the pro-abortion Giuliani, should the president choose to nominate him. Stay tuned.

My wife and I make it no secret in our individual work places that we are proud Christian conservatives. It's not easy sometimes, as we are literally surrounded by the enemy. We both work for extremely liberal employers in an extremely liberal part of an extremely liberal state. I know, I know...MOVE! LOL We will at some point. Anyway, a gal that works with my wife came up to her today and said "I'm SO GLAD he (Bush) won. I'm a registered democrat, but I had to vote my heart." She volunteered this information and was the one to bring...
