The potentially more important number is a combination nationally of those who have already voted and those who call themselves “extremely likely” to vote. Romney leads this group by three percent, 51 percent to 48 percent.

President Obama and Mitt Romney are now tied in the critical battleground state of Wisconsin. The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Wisconsin Voters shows the president and his Republican challenger each earning 49% support.

Newt Gingrich is now the front runner for the 2012 GOP Presidential nomination. It appears it will be a 2-man race between him and Mitt Romney. Some here have suggested that there is no difference between the two. Some have even suggested that Gingrich would be a worse choice than Romney, that he's more liberal than Romney, and that he would be as bad if not worse than another 4 years of Obama. Instead of hyperbole, let's examine the actual record, shall we?

I don't understand why some people are wringing their hands over this tax bill. Actually, I do. Some people aren't happy to get 99% of what they want. They want everything or nothing. Other people will not be happy, even with 100% of what they supposedly want. They live to be cynical and won't have their favorite crutch taken from them.

With 2/3 of the ballots counted in Virginia, McDonnell (R) is pounding Deeds (D) 61%-39%. The last Rasmussen poll had McDonnell ahead 54%-41%. There's a big difference between a 22% win and a 13% win. As I suspected would be the case, it appears the GOP, especially conservatives are HIGHLY motivated, while the democrats are not.

News that the White House is ready to abandon the "public option" has the 'rats and the DUmp depressed and desperate. In fact, I think a few of them need some "end of life counseling"...

Usually after a debate or town hall forum, the media takes a quick poll of those who watched the event in person or on TV.

"MICHAEL SCHIAVO, Terri Schiavo's husband, finally went on national television last night to tell the world his side of the story. Appearing on "Larry King Live," he strived mightily to play the loving husband. Until more than half way through the interview, when King got around to tentatively asking Schiavo whether or not it is true that he has a girlfriend. (King, who must have known the answer, somehow failed to mention that Schiavo has already sired two children with this woman, who he calls his fiancé.)"...

Scholars debate whether the Star of Bethlehem is a legend manufactured by the early church or a miracle which marked the advent of Christ. But if the Star was a real astronomical event, what could it have been? IT'S AN ASTRONOMICAL MYSTERY. A strange star is claimed to have appeared at the birth of Jesus of Nazareth. This site is an investigation of the story found in the Biblical Gospel of Matthew, a story often called the 'Star of Bethlehem.' It brings the words of Roman and Jewish historians alongside the visions of ancient prophets. It mixes "modern" mathematicians with...

Players involved in the notorious 60 Minutes II story, reported by Dan Rather, which employed dubious documents regarding President Bush’s National Guard service, may have been rooting for a John Kerry victory. No, it wasn’t that old bugaboo liberal media bias as much as it was a bias toward saving their own skins. The report from an internal investigation into the documents mess was purposely being held until after the election. Pre-election, the feeling in some quarters at CBS was that if Kerry triumphed, fallout from the investigation would be relatively minimal. The controversial piece’s producer, Mary Mapes, would likely...

Losing the election and word getting out the Clinton told Kerry to back the anti-gay marriage issue is just too much for these DUmmies to handle.

Washington is abuzz today with talk that Attorney General John Ashcroft will soon resign. The conservative Ashcroft, a born-again Christian who has enraged the left, has suffered from pancreatitis and other health problems. Among the names being bandied about as a replacement: popular former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani, who campaigned hard for President Bush's re-election. Former California governor Jerry Brown noted on Fox News Channel early this afternoon that Bush's conservative base might find it hard to accept the pro-abortion Giuliani, should the president choose to nominate him. Stay tuned.

My wife and I make it no secret in our individual work places that we are proud Christian conservatives. It's not easy sometimes, as we are literally surrounded by the enemy. We both work for extremely liberal employers in an extremely liberal part of an extremely liberal state. I know, I know...MOVE! LOL We will at some point. Anyway, a gal that works with my wife came up to her today and said "I'm SO GLAD he (Bush) won. I'm a registered democrat, but I had to vote my heart." She volunteered this information and was the one to bring...

Ok, folks, watch the networks that have given Ohio to Bush. They are trying to maintain that the other states are too close to call. Follow me here. IF this were really true, they would all be saying "HEY LOOK, WE COULD HAVE A TIE. IF BUSH WINS OHIO AS PROJECTED AND KERRY TAKES THESE OTHER STATES THAT ARE 'TOO CLOSE TO CALL' WE'LL HAVE A TIE!" NOBODY is saying that. WHY? Because they KNOW that Kerry can't take the other states, namely NEVADA. Yes, the same Nevada that has been called for Bush by the networks who haven't called...
-
Ok, folks HERE is what is happening. A couple of networks called Ohio early for Bush, while a couple of others held off. It was assumed that Kerry would emerge from his hole and concede. When he refused to do that, it put the networks on the spot. Those that hadn't called Ohio for Kerry now have an "out" to not call Ohio for Bush. Those that have already called Ohio for Bush are stuck. They don't want to take it off the board for 2 reasons. First, they will look like they are making the Florida mistake all over...

I've been studying the transcript of OBL's "message to America" and certain things really stand out.

I was just watching Wolf Blitzed on CNN yakking away about CNN's wondrous, marvelous, stupendous, scintillating, extraordinary wall-to-wall election night coverage. They even have a screen for each state! Goody! Now if they only knew what they were talking about. Wolf pointed to the Florida screen and talked about polls closing there at 8 PM Eastern time. This is the BIG mistake they made in 2000 that cost Bush who knows how many votes in the western most part of the state. In the Florida panhandle, conservative GOP country, polls are open an hour later due to time zone difference....

I've read the edited transcript on DRUDGE. I even went to Al Jazeera's site and couldn't even find that. I would be very interested to read the ENTIRE transcript to see what else he said that is not being reported on. Anyone have it?

During this campaign and especially the debates, there was a question for John Kerry that was the proverbial "elephant in the room". It was right there, begging to be asked, but the MSM refuses to ask this very simple question.

From today's news accounts...Kerry returned after a two-hour hunting trip wearing a camouflage jacket and carrying a 12-gauge shotgun, but someone else carried the bird he said he shot. "I'm too lazy," Kerry joked. "I'm still giddy over the Red Sox. It was hard to focus."

Andrew Heyward Internal E-Mail to CBS News Employees Mon Sep 20 2004 13:25:11 ET Dear CBS News Colleagues, Many of you have expressed understandable concern about the disputed documents used in the 60 MINUTES WEDNESDAY report on President Bush's service in the Texas Air National Guard. Obviously, 60 MINUTES WEDNESDAY had full confidence in the original report or it would not have aired. However, in the wake of serious and disturbing questions that came up after the broadcast, CBS News has done extensive additional reporting in an effort to confirm the documentsÕ authenticity. That included interviews with Marian Carr Knox,...

My, my, how are the democrats going to spin this mess? This investigation has been ongoing for months, and yet Kerry kept Berger on his team. NOW Berger resigns, obviously under pressure. But Team Kerry was saying that there was absolutely no reason for Berger to quit or get fired right up until he resigned. Sen. Joe Lieberman, D-Conn., when asked whether Kerry should dump Berger, the former rival said, "That's up to John Kerry, but I'm sure he will stay on the team unless there's some charges that are proven that leads Senator Kerry to do otherwise." it's not...

We have major TWO issues at play right now that are live grenades. We can't let them slip away out of Kerry's hands. We HAVE to use these issues RIGHT NOW while they are still hot and put Kerry on the defensive.

Once again the news media mind-control "spin doctors" are baiting naive Americans to believe that the Bush administration's "preferred target" at this time (Iraq) was involved in the Oklahoma City bombing escapade. Those of us who have done our inside homework on the OKC bombing most certainly KNOW that this was a government/military insider job, with a special agenda for our nation connected with it...and hence we are not falling for this diversionary tactic to somehow now justify in the American minds the "war on Iraq." From my CIA-insider whistle-blowers, to General Ben Partin's exposing of the obvious government/military role...

Bob Arnot, currently reporting live on MSNBC says Coalition forces at his location are battling the Fedayeen and a group he said he WAS NOT ALLOWED TO IDENTIFY. Al Qaeda? Any other guesses? He did indicate that these are highly skilled fighters, especially in regards to sniping.

UN Chief Arms Inspector Hans Blix is retiring. "My contract expires at the end of June and I do not propose to stay beyond that." said Blix on Thursday. What you may also not know is that as Blix and company were leaving Iraq, the US was quietly assembling its own team of former UN inspectors to lead a new effort to search for illegal weapons.
