Amid fire and looting, the St. Louis County Police Department is reporting heavy automatic gunfire coming from rioters. The gunfire was reported near the intersection of West Florisant and Canfield Streets, S.t Louis County Police said via social media. Automatic gunfire refers to guns that are not readily available on the civilian market, because more than one shot is fired with a single trigger pull. Momentum is building in the House in the GOP caucus to attach a rider to the Continuing Resolution that would fund the government until the end of the fiscal year that would defund agencies charged with implementing President Obama’s coming executive orders on immigration. The amendment would almost certainly be unacceptable to Democrats in the Senate. This would set up a showdown with the White House, giving President Obama and the Democrats the option of failing to fund the government past December 12, leading to a shutdown. The Hill: “I am insisting on that [rider] because the president is violating...

Not soon after his media-enabled reelection, when President Obama's poll numbers almost immediately began to crater, the media narrative shifted to the steady drumbeat of, "But the approval rating for Congress is much lower." That spin was obviously directed at Republicans, who controlled Congress. Although "congress" can mean both the Democrat-controlled Senate and the House, this was a nifty rhetorical trick the media used to argue that the GOP was in worse shape than Obama. That lie was not only laid bare in last week's midterm elections, where Republicans at every level of government crushed Democrats (and their media cheerleaders)...

JUNEAU, Alaska (AP) — Republican Dan Sullivan won Alaska's U.S. Senate race, defeating first-term incumbent Democrat Mark Begich. Sullivan led Begich by about 8,100 votes on Election Night last week and held a comparable edge after election workers had counted about 20,000 absentee, early-voted and questioned ballots late Tuesday. Thousands more ballots remained to be counted, but the results indicated that Begich could not overcome Sullivan's lead. The Alaska seat was initially considered key to the Republicans' hopes of taking control of the U.S. Senate, but that goal was accomplished before the Alaska race was decided. Sullivan, in a statement,...

President Obama is a sore loser. He lost big on election-day 2014, even though he has said that it was not a rejection of his policies. Everybody but those in the Democrat leadership and media sycophants knows better. Obama, however, being the sore loser and narcissist that he is, will not stop with his unconstitutional and damaging policies. He will use what’s left of his presidency to push through his agenda. The most dangerous period is the time before the new Congress is sworn in. Obama would rather “burn down the house” than follow the will of the people and...

Republicans have been ecstatic over their mid-term election victories this week but they seem to be oblivious to the fact that Obama just vowed to finish destroying America. He is serious about taking revenge on the country for daring to vote against him and he is serious about fulfilling the goal of his lifelong agenda. As soon as the press had the opportunity to talk to Obama following the Tuesday elections he made it clear that his priority would be to further his war on America by way of illegal alien invaders. He swore to use executive action to flood...

Obamacare compromise is one of the big things that conservatives need to watch for in this new Senate. Dr. Milton Wolf ran for the Senate seat in Kansas but Republican Pat Roberts won. I went to Roberts’ senatorial website and thought he had some good ideas (and some not so good) about healthcare. But is Roberts the Senator planning on being the conservative that Roberts the threatened candidate sounded like. On his twitter account, Wolf posted an image of Roberts own claim while he was running and someone else’s tweet for him after he had won his seat: pat roberts...

Currently, Dish Network's 14 million subscribers do not have access to CNN or other Turner Broadcasting channels like the Cartoon Network. Speaking specifically of CNN, Dish Chairman Charlie Ergen ridiculed the left-wing cable news network's obsessive coverage of the missing Malaysian airliner and said losing the channel was a "non-event." "Twenty years ago, CNN was a must-have channel, but it's not a top 10 network anymore ... unless they find the plane, the Malaysian plane," Ergen said during a conference call. He added that losing CNN just days before a major midterm election would have been "a disaster" for Dish...

Fox News obliterated its cable news competition during Tuesday night's election coverage, and did so by humiliating margins. However, co-hosts Megyn Kelly and Bret Baier not only vanquished CNN and MSNBC into oblivion, the dynamic duo also beat their broadcast network competition -- in both total viewers and the all-important 25-54 age demo: According to Nielsen Media Research, Fox News Channel beat CNN, MSNBC, CBS, NBC and ABC's coverage in both total viewers and in the 25-to-54-year-old demographic. Co-anchored by Bret Baier and Megyn Kelly, the channel's election coverage averaged 6.3 million viewers during prime time. CNN was the second...

Everyone is (rightfully) buzzing about Republicans' dominant victories in contested Senate, House and gubernatorial races on Tuesday, but another historic GOP accomplishment shouldn't be overlooked: When January rolls around, the Republican Party will control more legislative chambers at the state level than ever before in the history of our nation. That's no small thing. The Washington Post reported on this outcome yesterday: Republican gains extended to state legislative chambers as well. Before Election Day, the GOP controlled 59 of 98 partisan legislative chambers across the country. On Tuesday, preliminary results showed Republicans had won control of both the Nevada Assembly...

After Republicans easily clinched a Senate majority on Tuesday night, we knew the run-off election in Louisiana wouldn't go well for Democrat Mary Landrieu against her Republican opponent Bill Cassidy and now, it just got a lot worse. POLITICO is reporting the DSCC has pulled funding for television advertising in the state. The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee is canceling at least some of its advertising reservations for Sen. Mary Landrieu ahead of the December runoff in Louisiana. The committee canceled buys planned from Monday through December 6 in the Lafayette, Baton Rouge and New Orleans markets, three sources tracking the...

It’s not just the United States Senate that switched political parties on Election Day. Ben Carson, the neurosurgeon and conservative phenomenon who rocketed to fame when he challenged Barack Obama at a prayer breakfast last year, also officially changed his political affiliation, moving from independent to Republican. The step is another indication Carson may run for president in 2016. Carson, whose career was spent as a doctor at Johns Hopkins University Hospital in Maryland, filed the paperwork in his new home county of Palm Beach, Florida, a traditional Democratic Party stronghold. “It’s truly a pragmatic move because I have to...

Tom Hank's character, playing Captain John H. Miller, in Saving Private Ryan tells the rescued soldier, "Earn this." It's a moving an emotional unexpected scene. Lives were lost to save one man. From this point on, what will he do with this life as others have given their lives for him. While not as dramatic, yesterday's election romp over the Democrats is an "earn this" moment for the GOP. Millions of dollars and countless hours were spent helping these Republicans get elected. Now that they have it, what are they going to do with it? They need to watch this...

Texas Governor-elect Greg Abbott (R) says he will sign a bill to legalize the open carry of handguns as soon as the legislation reaches his desk. Abbott spoke to reporters in Austin the morning after he won the Lone Star State's gubernatorial election. According to WFAA 8 ABC, Abbot said: "If an open carry bill is passed by the House and Senate, I will sign it into law." Abbott added, "If open carry is good enough for Massachusetts, it's good enough for Texas." It is interesting to note that open carry of rifles is already legal in Texas. Moms Demand...

Illinois is the worst-governed state in the nation. It has high unemployment, poor economic performance, billions in unfunded pension liabilities, billions in unpaid bills, failing schools, the worst credit rating in the country, and rampant corruption and cronyism. According to a recent Gallup poll, a whopping 50 percent of respondents would even choose to move out of state if they had the chance. For these reasons, voters in The Prairie State have chosen to pass on re-electing Democratic Gov. Pat Quinn, or the “failure,” as Republican challenger Bruce Rauner pegged him on the campaign trail. Instead, they’re taking a chance...

MANCHESTER, New Hampshire — Senior Judicial Watch attorney Robert Popper, a former Department of Justice election integrity official, told Breitbart News that he’s concerned about seemingly high percentages of same-day registration for voting in Tuesday’s elections in New Hampshire. Popper is in New Hampshire watching polls on election day for Judicial Watch, a watchdog group. Popper said in an interview on Tuesday afternoon that at polling places he and his team have been at throughout the Granite State on election day, anywhere from 6 to 9 percent of voters registered on site. I wouldn’t call it irregularities. Here’s what we’re...

Well, what a surprise! Quarantined Ebola Nurse, Kaci Hickox is a card carrying Progressive and CDC EIS Officer. The Ebola nurse who attacked Governor Christie for putting her in quarantine after returning from Africa is a Progressive with ties to the CDC. Her LinkedIn profile was scrubbed this weekend. Natural News reported: Kaci Hickox, the nurse who was quarantined in New Jersey over her high risk status as a possible Ebola carrier, has ties to the CDC which have been deliberately hidden by the mainstream media. According to the list, these people and companies have given money and/or support to gun control measures and/or organizations such as the Brady Act and the Clinton assault weapons ban, reports the Daily Mail.
