  • Tucker Reveals CNN Told Hosts To Discredit Donna Brazile To Cover For Clinton [VIDEO]

“Brazille deserves criticism as she is as guilty as all the rest. Don’t forget she undermined the debates, she headed the party, even if briefly, and she’s been a lifelong propagandist for the Clintons and Democrats. All she is doing now is getting a bit of CYA cover and early lots of money in the process. At the end of the day, she is still part of the Democratic party problem. A pox on all of them.”

    Agreed.
But the irony is totally lost on CNN. I saw a clip (on Carlson’s show) where Anderson Copper was essentially impugning Brazille for funneling questions to Hillary prior to the debate on THEIR network. So, they are saying that Brazille was dishonest to do that, but not the network? NOt Hillary?

All hyperbole aside, I think that young women of age, should register for selective service, just as the young men do.
It doesn’t mean that there ever will be an actual draft.
But if there is, I believe all should serve not just (essentially) half.

There are a plethora of roles in military service that are not direct combat. They aren’t going to force a 110lb woman into a “tip of the spear” role.

    Exactly.

What about abortion “law”. What if some state decides that they will not recognize Roe V. Wade?
What if some state decides that some arcane environmental law damages business, so they void said law?

    And on and on.

The entire situation has become laughable and entertaining.

Consider first, that the NFL is essentially made up of 3 very disparate groups.
    1) The owners, are the billionaire club. They have NOTHING in common with the players or the fans.
    2) The players (at least 75%) are made up of African Americans, the vast majority of who, grew up in poverty from single parent (mom) homes, and have an “urban experience”.
    3) The fanbase, who are mostly made up of middle class white people, that have a strong sense of being “red blooded American”, flag waving, “tough guys” (at least in their heads...)
I make no value judgement here, just describing the groups.
Well, they have nothing in common. Nothing at all really.
These 3 groups have enjoyed this symbiotic experience, but it is being exposed. I don’t think it ends well.

Buckner was more the scapegoat than the goat, in my opinion.
Red Sox entered the inning up 5-3. They got two quick outs, then two relief pitchers (Schiraldi and ?) proceeded two give up 3 straight base hits and wild pitch to tie the game.
Then with Knight on 2nd, the grounder by Mookie Wilson went through Buckner’s leg. Even if he fields the ball, I doubt he gets the out at first. Knight would not have scored of course, but the point is, the Red Sox bullpen had already blown the lead when the fatal play occurred.

The term “H-Bomb” is somewhat misleading. It stems from the first “R&D” development of fusion style weapons. In the first test of an H-Bomb (I believe at the Castle series of tests). They used liquid hydrogen in a test cell. It was never really a practical weapon, just designed to test out the theories of nuclear fusion. The practical fusion weapons use lithium hydride.
The are correctly called fusion weapons, or more accurately, “thermonuclear weapons”. They use a staged series of fission-fusion-fission etc. to maximize the explosive energy.
In reality, the fission(A bomb) part of the thermonuclear weapon, is the fuse.

Actually the Riggs/King match was legitimate, in that they were both defending the singles court.
Riggs, however, had defeated Margaret Court in May of that year, quite easily. At the time, Court was the #1 ranked woman in the world, while King was ranked at #2. Media never mentioned the Riggs/court match, much at all.
Eventually, the hype began for the Riggs/King match. To this day, I believe that match was designed to promote women’s tennis. Hype was unbelievable. I also think that Riggs (who had debts), may have thrown the match to make money, who knows. Anyway King won, and it set off a boom of sorts, in women’s tennis, which was the intent I’m certain.
You may have been thinking about a match in the early 90s between Jimmy Connors and Martina Navratilova. In that match, Connors defended a larger court, sort of a “halfway” increase, not the full doubles court, but larger than the singles court. Connors also only got one serve per point, rather than the customary two. Connors won the match something like 6-4, 6-3. But as an old gambler says.....”if you gotta handicap it, you already know who’s better”.

“I get this. I don’t get why people believe this without any examples that it works, and so many examples of its absolute failure.”

Well....they always go to the default option, sort of....
“It works in Denmark”! or Norway”!
Small, and (up until very recently), single ethnicity Nordic cultures with a good work ethic, and a heavy dosage of North Sea oil money, to prop up their economies, while enjoying NATO protection.
The left allows itself to use these examples of “working”, while not affording us critics, the examples of Cuba, Venezuela, Soviet Union, Communist China....shall we go on?

Socialism “works” with small single minded populations, without much outside influence. In other words, it barely and rarely functions, and only under unique circumstances.

They (the leaders) don’t care if it “works” per se.
What they want is the destruction of the West, free markets, and yes, freedom in general.
It’s a magnet for the masses, because of the (false) prospect of prosperity and comfort, without effort and work.
The result is always, misery for all, except the privileged few that are in command.

    True.

What we are witnessing is some form of mental illness, I think it’s called cognitive dissonance. They wish to embrace all that is new, “cool”, trendy, enlightened....
They also still want a nice little comfy protected society, where all of their wants and needs are taken care of.
The two do no go together. At some point, the invaders will take over, and all of these liberal snowflakes will wonder what happened to “their rights”. It will be too late.
For Germany, Sweden, and some other European nations, it appears that it is indeed too late. What will be the end game?

  • Could It Be Time To Deny White Men The Franchise?

    Arthurive to C19fan

After reading the article, I am convinced that she is serious. I had to ascertain that, first.

What she is advocating, is essentially requiring that white men become 2nd class citizens. To achieve that, somebody’s gotta apply the “force”. There would have to be a movement not unlike Nazi Germany, where some group has to have the weapons to enforce the “rules”.

So who is going to do the enforcement? Will white females rise up against the patriarchy and take up arms against the men? Will white females align themselves with some group of “preferred males”, to rise up against white men? So many things to contemplate here. Maybe this is the secret alliance? White women and Muslim men, rise up against the common enemy, white men?
She is of course, just talking and thinking about the feminist dream. Reality is somewhat different.

It is indeed a mental disorder.
Essentially, liberalism and it’s bedfellow, feminism, is in a constant battle against reality.

It’s a “pigheadedness”. A belief that “I am right” or “I am superior”, both intellectually and morally, to the opposition.
It is their religion. And as we know, much of religion is based on faith rather than hard evidence.

People of all beliefs do not like to be proven wrong. It is anathema to a liberal. For the left in Sweden (in this example) to do what is necessary to get their country back............would be an admission that they were wrong. And worse, would force them to align themselves with the hated right, the uneducated, xenophobic, Neanderthals that they despise. They cannot allow themselves to do that. So.....they will forge ahead in their beliefs to the destruction of their countries and their cultures, to “prove” that they were correct all along. It won’t end well, but they would still find a way to blame the right. They will NEVER admit they were wrong, about anything.

“Are the authorities in Europe insane or just suicidal?”

They are neither. They want to force a one world order on the masses, while they rule. They care not one bit about the history and culture of where they reside.
They are leftists and what they want is the destruction of representative governance.

  • Emanuel brands Trump’s sanctuary city threat a ‘bit of a joke’

If these big city mayors, successfully stand up to Trump and maintain their pro illegal alien stances, then it IS a bit of a joke. Right now it is a test of will.
Trump of course, has the law on his side, but does that matter anymore? With the media constantly mischaracterizing this as being “against immigration”, Trump is in for a hard sell.
So I guess, that defying federal law is “cool” again? Let’s see, what federal laws are near and dear to the hearts of liberals? There are too many to list. Just imagine if some states decided to ignore environmental laws? Federal education mandates? Roe vs. Wade (which isn’t even a recognized law), just a “super-duper precedent”. We could go on.
So sure, let’s challenge ALL federal laws right?
Who gets to pick and choose, which ones to enforce?

I never liked the last half hour or so of ‘Dances With Wolves’.
The movie premise was compelling, as a young man who cheated death, got a glimpse of the old west “before it is gone”. I love the West anyway.

However, the writers couldn’t resist the theme of “White man bad, Native American good”. That was far too simplistic, as there was all sorts of BAD happening back then, and yes, our government was mostly at fault.

What would have been better IMO, was once Costner left the Soldier Fort, that was the last we saw of it etc. Instead, it would have been better and perhaps more poignant, had he lost his life in a meaningless battle fighting for the Sioux against the Pawnee. Sort of a bookend ending, mimicking how the story began, except this time, not so lucky.

As in many things, the old adage “follow the money”, probably applies here.
Women’s sports for the most part, are not doing well financially. If it’s a sport where both genders play (basketball, soccer, etc.), then the men’s version will be better, because the male athletes are better....more strength and speed etc.
What better way to increase interest, than to crank in transgender athletes? It will make it more entertaining.
