New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez continued to defend herself against claims promoted by Donald Trump, Jr. and others that she changes her accent to pander to minority audiences. In a string of Saturday evening tweets, the first-term Democrat wrote that her habit of "code-switching" was informed by years of navigating professional and social environments as a woman of color. "Next time you‘re told straight hair is 'unprofessional' and that speaking like your parents do is 'uneducated,' then you can complain about code-switching," she wrote, referring to the practice of changing speech patterns based on environment. "Code-switching is a tool communities...

As Al Sharpton’s National Action Network held their conference in New York this week, an array of 2020 Democratic hopefuls showed up to address the audience. Among them was Bernie Sanders, who may or may not be an actual member of the Democratic Party, depending on what day of the week you ask him. He clearly knew what sort of red meat the audience was craving, and ditched his usual platform points for a while to deliver the sort of attacks on President Trump that draw the biggest applause at such gatherings. (NY Post) In some of his sharpest language...

It makes me laugh that not even the lefty flavor of the month can escape getting hit for lack of wokeness while he’s enjoying his moment in the sun. His offense in this case: A single pedestrian comment made four years ago which, in context, obviously wasn’t intended to minimize police brutality against blacks.

During Friday’s “Morning Joe” on MSNBC, host Joe Scarborough reacted to President Donald Trump’s plan to declare a national emergency to build a wall at the southern border, saying the president is “playing on racist fears.” According to Scarborough, Trump’s campaign “has always been” about people who are not white taking over the United States.

Beto O'Rourke is scoping out a presidential run. According to Buzzfeed, his recon included a call to Al Sharpton to schedule a meeting. A Sharpton spokeswoman confirmed to Buzzfeed that "they spoke and agreed to meet within the next couple of weeks and they had a great conversation." [Snip] O'Rourke has yet to officially confirm a presidential run, but all signs (including his Senate run) point to a definite White House bid. Having already met with former President Obama, O’Rouke’s upcoming meeting with Sharpton is a harbinger of the role of racial politics in the upcoming election. Sharpton and...

African-Americans increasingly associate GOP with Trump, racist rhetoric Democratic wins in the 2018 midterms were driven largely by African American voters — particularly black women — who increasingly associate the GOP with President Trump’s perceived hostility toward people of color and immigrants, according to an analysis released Monday. The report by the NAACP, the racial justice nonprofit Advancement Project, and the political action group African American Research Collaborative found that across competitive elections 90 percent of black voters supported Democratic House candidates, compared to 53 percent of voters overall. It also found 91 percent of black women, 86 percent of...

Ron DeSantis and Rick Scott are winning 14-15% of the black vote according to the Trafalgar exit polls. This is NOT good news for Democrats

Because President Trump is an Alt-Right, White-Supremacist, Nationalist Racist who wants to bring black slavery back in America, he dispatched a tweet proudly declaring record support among black voters. “New Fox Poll shows a ‘40% Approval Rating by African Americans for President Trump, a record for Republicans.’ Thank you, a great honor!” See, the thing you don’t understand about Alt-Right, White Supremacist, Nationalist Racists is that while their entire mission is to bring back black slavery, they also really want to be popular among black voters. Such disgusting white privilege! Of course the Great White Media immediately pounced on the...

Black voter approval of President Trump hit the year’s high at 40 percent this week, according to daily tracking by Rasmussen Reports. The high-water mark comes right after the “Blexit,” or “Black exit from the Democratic Party,” movement spearheaded by Turning Point’s Candace Owens was launched over the weekend, which drew thousands of young African Americans to Washington, DC. The numbers are based on a three-day rolling average of 1,500 likely voters surveyed nationally every night, according to Rasmussen’. About 12 to 13 percent of those are likely black voters. “We never saw 40 percent before,” said Ted Carroll, of...

Actress Stacey Dash (Screenshot) (CNSNews.com) – Actress Stacey Dash said she was ostracized and called the n-word for publicly supporting former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney over President Barack Obama during the 2012 presidential election. “My whole life changed when I put out a tweet in 2012: ‘Vote for Romney, the only hope for our future.’ The next day, everything was different. I was a house n*****. I was a coon. I was a traitor to my race. I was an Uncle Tom, who by the way is hero, so thank you very much. I was blacklisted from Hollywood. No one...

Reversal: Once upon a time, Democrats could count on nearly universal support from black voters. But then something happened: Donald Trump. A new survey from Rasmussen Reports less than a week before crucial midterm elections on Nov. 6 show black support for POTUS at an all-time high for any Republican president at 25 percent. Overall, the president’s approval rating is 50 percent, or six points higher than his corrupt predecessor, Barack Obama, at the same period in his miserable first term.

President Donald Trump’s support among black Americans has never been higher, according to a new poll released Monday. The Rasmussen Reports daily tracking poll showed that 40 percent of black voters surveyed supported Trump, while Trump’s overall rating showed that 50 percent of all voters approve of the job Trump is doing in Washington. In August, Rasmussen Reports put Trump’s popularity among black voters at 36 percent, according to USA Today. At that time, Trump’s popularity among black voters had doubled since August 2017. Black voters have identified with the Democratic Party for much of the past 50 years. In...

Kanye West has debuted a line of shirts endorsing a 'Black Exit' from the Democratic Party. The rapper's latest clothing venture features a selection of aqua, salmon and lilac tees and denim hats with the words 'Blexit' and 'We Free' boldly printed on the front, ranging from $25-$28. The line was unveiled at the Young Black Leadership Summit in Washington, DC, on Saturday, an event organized by Candace Owens of the conservative advocacy group Turning Point USA. 'Blexit is a renaissance and I am blessed to say that this logo, these colors, were created by my dear friend and fellow...

When I uploaded my first video onto YouTube one year ago, I entitled it “Mom, Dad, I’m a Conservative.” It was a two-minute satirical stab at the social exiling that many Americans face when they announce their conservatism to friends and family. Soon thereafter I would discover that for black Americans, the punishment that awaits is far worse than any social exile: it is a full-court social lynching. Search the name of any prominent black conservative and peruse the words written by liberal journalists:Dr. Ben Carson is a “porch monkey”Larry Elder is but an “Uncle Tom” Kanye West is “in...

Last week as three friends and I were preparing to leave the Southeastern Pennsylvania establishment where we had enjoyed an evening of Korean food and cigars, I was asked by a group of four black women if I really believed President Trump was “Making America Great Again” à la the slogan on my President Trump ball cap. I responded that President Trump was making America both “great and proud again.” Three of the women couldn’t conceal their distaste for my matter-of-fact response, albeit they did try. I knew by the prosody of their feigned interest in honest debate, the direction...

GREENVILLE, S.C. — The chanting began moments after Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) arrived at Friday's get-out-the-vote rally at a black church: “The next president! The next president! The next president!” One day earlier, in Orangeburg, Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.) plunged into a crowd of hundreds at Betty Henderson's annual Democratic Party cookout for a full hour of selfies, hugs and hundreds of black voters telling him to run for president. “Don't let that handsome man leave without taking a picture with me!” said Henderson, a longtime local party leader. The race for the first Southern primary, which has become a...

The provocative Donald Trump certainly seems to be disliked by a majority of African-American professional athletes, cable news hosts, academics and the Black Congressional caucus. Yet there are subtle but increasing indications that his approval among other African-Americans may be reaching historic highs for a modern Republican president. Some polls have indicated that Trump's approval rating among black voters is close to 20 percent. That is far higher than the 8 percent of the African-American vote that Trump received on Election Day 2016. A recent, admittedly controversial Rasmussen Reports poll showed African-American approval of Trump at 36 percent. Even 20...

Democrats need 90% black turnout and 90% black support in order to win elections on a national scale. Anything that erodes either number is a mortal threat. And they must be sensing softness, if not outright desertion in the face of three factors: 1.    Blacks have done far better under Trump than Obama in terms of rising employment opportunities and rising wages. The growth in manufacturing employment in particular has pushed up wages in the segments of the labor market with heavy black participation. Very few people of any color prefer life on food stamps and unemployment insurance to...

"Kanye West is what happens when negros don't read" "Black folks are about to trade Kanye West in the racial draft" "He's an attention whore" "He's a token negro" "He clearly has issues" "He's already been hospitalized" Don Lemon can't stop laughing. This is all because Kanye West is a Trump supporter.

Support for President Donald Trump is growing among black Americans, but it’s unclear whether that will translate into enough votes for Republicans to retain control of Congress in the midterm elections in one month’s time. This apparent reversal of fortunes stands in stark contrast to Republicans’ inability in recent decades to attract much support from black voters. Part of the growth could be due to defections from the Democratic side. Former Democrat Brandon Straka’s #WalkAway movement has been encouraging Americans to share their personal stories of disillusionment with the Democratic Party and abandon, or “walk away,” from the party. The...
