The gun background check law knows as Question 1 just passed by 9,000 votes statewide. The ink isn’t even dry and Sheriff Lombardo has come out today supporting legislation to ban gun magazines with more than 10 rounds. As reported in the Las Vegas Sun today, Lombardo said “I’m a very avid hunter, I was in the military myself, and there’s no need to have a high-capacity magazine for any practical reason” Lombardo was the only sheriff in the state out of 17 to not oppose Question 1, the Bloomberg background check law.

Californians are rushing to purchase the evil AR15 semi-automatic "assault" rifle before a new ban goes into effect on January 1, 2017. Governor Jerry Brown signed the gun-control measure into law back in July and with a 10-day waiting period for all gun sales, time is running out to purchase the gun and take possession before next year. All of these newly purchased guns must be registered with the state before the deadline kicks in on Wednesday, December 21.

Police are searching for a suspect in a nail salon armed robbery turned shooting, according to the Douglasville Police Department.   The suspect was one of two who entered Top Nails Salon in Lithia Springs on Wednesday.
