The Clintons may have left a certain Washington address almost 20 years ago, but -- unlike most of their presidential predecessors -- the family has kept a home in the US capital since leaving the White House.
Now, Hillary is offering a rare glimpse into the pair's urban retreat, after she opened the doors of the neo-Georgian residence to Architectural Digest.
A series of exclusive photographs for Architectural Digest's site show off the property's airy conservatory and sizable swimming pool. An accompanying interview also sees the former Secretary of State recalling her first encounter with the home in 2000, the last full year Bill Clinton served as president.
"It was an emotional reaction," she's quoted as saying. "When I was elected to the Senate in 2000, I knew that I needed a place to live while we were in session during the year. So I began looking."

Billy Jeff lives in a Little Rock penthouse, according to what I read. My impression is that he and Hilary only come together for pubic occasions.

I had long conversations with the White house butler who retired under the Clinton’s and worked for one of the Grand Dames of DC. He insisted the Clinton’s trashed their private quarters. They were dirty, trashy, drug and alcohol crazed. His depression about the horrid behavior of the Clinton’s drove him and much of his staff into retirement.
If the DC address is clean and tidy it is because no one lives there. BTW, Oprah’s take on his life was slanderously inept.
Yeah, that is the real truth. I remember her buying this place; and, I think she and Huma lived there. Bill lived in the Chappaqua house where he was having an affair with some woman who lived in the neightborhood. Plus, I believe she/they own a condo in NYC. Also, Chelsea and her hubby have a luxury apartment in NYC.
That fraud of a foundation provided a lot of the funding for their lifestyle.

You forget that their friends like Terry McAwful stepped up to handle those minor items like financing a couple o f million dollar mansions.
