Starbucks Helps Lesbians Declare War on Christmas, Place ‘Lillith’ The Goddess of Lesbianism...

It is a well-known fact that the corporate world is powered by high-end coffees. With pithy corporate executives forced to work early morning hours to keep their companies competitive, they must find a good source of status-quot coffee to start their day and show they are in charge.

Powerful liberals understand this fact and have thus encouraged young lesbians to start ‘exciting careers’ in the barista industry. By working at local Starbucks nationwide, lesbians have...

I buy all my coffee at Porto Rico Importing Company in Greenwich Village. It’s ten dollars a pound but it’s the very best. When money is scarce it’s back to Chock Full ‘O Nuts.

You do know that Liberal Darkness is a satire site whose purpose is to make fun of Christians and conservatives, don’t you?

No, I did not know this. I don't remember how I came across this website. I can only think that this past Nov or Dec, I might have been strolling the internet for coffee. I just don't remember how I found this site. I do remember though, when I spotted this Starbucks article. It stood out vividly on my computer screen. So I bookmarked the url and was just looking through my files this morning. Thank you very much for telling me. I'll remember this in the future. It's not often I can be fooled.

You are correct. She was Frazier’s rebound when Diane dumped him. They made a great couple.

That is some God-awful writing, sadly typical of bloggers.

You, on the other hand:

This subtle introduction to lesbianism may be all it takes to ask their barista out for a ‘weekend’ and then be dominated by a buxom college twenty-something who can cause buckling of the thighs with just a flicker of the skilled lesbian tongue

You are in the wrong line of work. Porn is your talent.

You should do that, rather than unnecessarily excerpt horribly-written blogs and then pimp them under News instead of Bloggers.

How does it feel to be completely taken in by an obvious satire site?

Or, alternatively, did you get a good chuckle from the other posters who didn’t get that this is not real?

One or the other.

"Starbucks has given me the creeps for many years. We don’t go there. When we do buy coffee out, there is a small mom and pop cafe nearby that has the best coffee you can buy."

I have yet to buy anything in a Star Bucks. (A record I plan on keeping till they put me in a box.)

I went there once many years ago eager to try their coffee after hearing about it and saw the prices and left.

See my Mom did not raise any children stupid enough to pay nearly 4 bucks for a cup of coffee.

And to fit into the mermaid thing, wasn’t “Starbuck” a character in “Moby Dick”?

Who cares? Most of the posts are about the inferior quality of Starbucks.

And, of course, the real irony is that even though it turned out to be a satire site, it was and is completely believable that Starbuck’s would try to pull something like this. Remember “let’s discuss with ‘the barista’ racial issues” fiasco of not too long ago?

I on the other hand did try out their branded hot chocolate from the supermarket. I don’t drink coffee. It was like their other products...expensive. It was ok but did not merit the premium price. Lesson learned and I won’t be buying anymore of that.

Okay, a couple of things for sanity sake.

First, this was a satire site. Those who have taken it seriously are perpetuating the stereotype that conservatives are idiots. Congratulations.

Second, a regular cup of coffee from Starbucks is between $2.00 and $2.65, depending on size. Dunkin Donuts is $1.72 to $2.47, depending on size. For further comparison, an iced macchiato is $4.05 to $5.35 at Starbucks and $3.45 to $4.53 at Dunkin Donuts. Starbucks is a little more expensive, but stop with the “$4.00 cup of coffee” crap. It just makes you look stupid and cheap.

Third, millennials have an obnoxious sense of privilege and snobbery no matter where they work. I have had the same snotty attitude from early 20-somethings at Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, IHOP, Dennys, McDonalds, etc., etc. The sole exception is Chick-Fil-A. They don’t put up with that crap there.

In conclusion, Starbucks is no better or worse than any other big chain food serving franchise. When was the last time they wished you Merry Christmas at Burger King? How did you like those purple Christmas cups from McDonalds this year? Didn’t notice them, did you?

Sheesh, maybe we are as brain dead as liberals make us out to be.

Consider the source. Other articles from the same site as the Starbucks story:

See my #43 please. I'm reflecting now, back to that day when I came across this article, that I bookmarked it and was in a hurry to get out the door and go with my wife somewhere. So, I didn't read any other stories at that site and never gave a thought to the sites goals. Don't remember where my wife was badgering me to go to, but if I don't get off the computer when she wants me to, it'll be a NO dinner that night. (she has always resented how long I read and post here at fr)
Anyway, this is a good lesson for me, and possibly others -to always remember to examine and think through what a particular sites goals are what they want their readers ---to 'walk away' with.

(it does seem to me that the logic/reasoning behind this article... seems to be right on mark and the premise of this article does depict how the lesbian mind works)

Christmas will never die. It makes corporations way too much money, far more than the lesbian component of the population (what is it 1 1/2 % or something even with all their propaganda and recruitment of kids?). They are dreaming...Sorry lesbians, you lose.

“Terry [Heckler] also poured over old marine books until he came up with a logo based on an old sixteenth-century Norse woodcut: a two-tailed mermaid, or siren, encircled by the store’s original name, Starbucks Coffee, Tea, and Spice. That early siren, bare-breasted and Rubenesque, was supposed to be as seductive as coffee itself.” [pg. 33]”

seductive lesbian sells coffee? poor marketing. Strange article. Lesbians can pervert anything.
