From my clients standpoint, this would no longer be a capital murder, but just a murder.
But you Mr. Osso are capital scum

Is there video of the alleged rendezvous? Was the cop meeting the murderer’s ho? 99% of all lawyers give the other 1% a bad name.....

Another false flag probably but even so what the hell does that have yo do with your client pumping 15 shots into him unless it was his wife he was seeing? Agree. Scum attorney using leftard distraction from the focal issue technique.

Your honor, the bag of peanuts had been misprinted ..... instead of saying PEANUTS, it said PEENUTS ........... if that bag had been spelled properly, those seventeen children might be alive today !

As sad as it is to say, that excuse might actually get some traction in LA or NY, but Texas? I think it may very well backfire.

I believe he was not there pumping gas There is surveillance video of him pumping gas, there were witnesses. That's the stupidest defense ever.

Almost certainly BS, however, what is he trying to say? Was the perp hired by his wife to take him out? Or it was OK to shoot him because he was going to have an affair? That is the defense? Don’t get it.

In urban Houston, it might work.
So who are we mad at? The lawyer who came up with this crap? The judge who will allow him to present it as evidence, however speculative and irrelevant? Or the jury that buys it?

Scum or not, this lawyer is doing what he should do for his client. I read the article on the Blaze and it is clear that the only way the scumbag can avoid the death penalty is to prove that this was going on. And before you flame me, wouldn’t you want your lawyer to do his very best for you if you were charged with a crime? For the record, if it is not true it is a cruel trick by the lawyer. But if there is evidence that points to this he has an obligation as an officer of the court to pursue it.
