Donald Trump is dominating in two key early-primary states, according to new polls of the states released Tuesday.
A new Public Policy Polling poll of Republican primary voters in New Hampshire found that the real-estate mogul is far ahead of the competition, with 35% saying that they would vote for Trump if the primary were held today.
The closest opponent was Ohio Gov. John Kasich (R), who garnered 11%.
"This is by far the best weve found Donald Trump doing anywhere during his entire surge, Dean Debnam, the president of Public Policy Polling...
The results were similar to a Monmouth University poll of South Carolina Republican primary voters, which showed Trump leading the pack with 30% of the vote. He was trailed by retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson, who clocked in at a distant second with 15%.
New Hampshire and South Carolina are the first two primary states, taking place after the first-in-the-nation Iowa caucuses. They are generally seen as crucial states...
Trump took a victory lap on Twitter following the release of the new polls. He also took a shot at Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina), a fellow candidate with whom he has been in an ongoing feud:
Congrats @LindseyGrahamSC. You just got 4 points in your home state of SCfar better than zero nationally. Youre only 26 pts behind me. Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 25, 2015
But even that theory appears to be crumbling, at least in New Hampshire.
According to the PPP poll, Trump would trounce his rivals in head-to-head matchups. The survey found that Trump beat out Carson by 8 points, Walker by 18%, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Florida) by 19%, and Bush by 23%.

Cruz is tied for my primary choice now. The problem that I have is that Cruz needs donations in order to run a campaign. And I’m not sure there are enough donors out there who will not demand their pound of policy flesh from him and leave us in the same position that we are now.
Trump, on the other hand, doesn’t; he’s independently wealthy and can fund his campaigns himself. Despite the fact that from what I can tell, he’s a moderate at best, at least he’s not being controlled except by himself.
And that is SO refreshing. Heck, he could be an out-and-out liberal and it’d be refreshing, because at least he’d be a genuine liberal.
Gramps - Never thought I’d say this, but I could even stomach higher taxed under President Trump. I want our military feared again!
That is a good point. The politician who can’t rake in large donations is going nowhere, but those who can afford to give big $ expect a return on their investment.
Right now, though, just as crucial is a POTUS with, as the other poster said, a warrior spirit. Cruz seems like a nice person with good conservative positions. But what we need is a honey badger. At this juncture, that looks like Trump.
Trump is a patriot who doesn’t like seeing the US ‘go to hell.’ All indications are that he will fight, honey badger style, to secure the border and save the country.
And that is what we need.
“A billion dollars (+ contributions) to spend doesnt hurt either.”
Yes, he does have the money if he needs it. But my guess is that he doesn’t have to spend much because the lamestream media is giving him a ton of “free airtime.” He’s using his money to build an organization instead of having to use it to buy ads.
Nope you can’t.
Cruz not doing well, down 10 points from previous poll. Seems the Cruzers are throwing in with The Donald.
But even alighting from his private fleet of aircraft, wearing custom-made suits, diamond cuff links on impeccable French-cuffed shirts, (as Miss Marmelstein posted).....he still looks like someone who'd help you paint the garage.
Notice that he offers no details.
He lets every American fill-in the blanks....
.....dreaming of the things THEY think would make America great again.
” The other, a conservative woman is still in business. She said firing the liberal users was the best thing she did for her business.”
She made a small mistake. She should have kept ONE in case there’s a lawsuit against her, and a great excuse that she’s ‘tolerant” and not anti lib. We hire the most vile libtards then fire them at every election...leaving one. It’s fantastic, man. :)
Tonight he referenced painting his father’s buildings’ basements in battleship grey - did he pick up on our reference? The man sits up til 3 in the morning tweeting. Who is to say he isn’t reading us?
