Long-time political junkie and born conservative, psychologist with interest in the law and reverence for the Constitution. 63, married, 3 kids all future and/or current Freepers. Live in Hinckley, Ohio, home of the buzzards.

I am one of those who are “sometimes in error, never in doubt.”

A fan of Ralph Waldo Emerson, the first uniquely American intellectual:

“Speak what you think today in words as hard as cannon balls, and tomorrow speak what tomorrow thinks in hard words again, though it contradict every thing you said today... To be great is to be misunderstood.”—”Self Reliance”

Favorite Comment recently from N. Theknow: Kerry? Kerry? Name sounds familiar. I ran into a guy named Kerry when I was sent to Cambodia by Richard Nixon. It was a rather odd assignment, as Nixon had not been sworn in as President yet. Nixon said he wanted me to teach the local Buddhists population how to celebrate Christmas by firing their guns into the air and shooting off fireworks and here comes this Kerry dude, claiming to be on a secret mission from Nixon himself. Goofy looking guy wearing some stupid looking hat with CIA written all over it.
