Vice President Joe Biden made a surprise visit to Washington, D.C.’s Naval Observatory on Saturday for a confidential talk with Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), CNN reported.
Biden’s return to the District comes amid buzz he is seriously weighing a 2016 Oval Office bid.
CNN said that two sources confirmed the pair’s face-to-face, the biggest indicator yet that Biden is seriously tempted by an Oval Office bid next year.
“The vice president traveled last minute to Washington, D.C. for a private meeting and will be returning to Delaware,” an aide told CNN. Biden spokeswoman Kendra Barkoff declined further comment on the alleged rendezvous.

The Democratic ticket will be Joe Biden-Elizabeth Warren. That’s what Mr. Obama wants. And what Mr. Obama wants, Mr. Obama gets.
Trump and his followers had better keep a close watch on this. A Biden/Warren ticket or a Sanders/Warren ticket could be the beginning of the end and will finish off America.
It’s scary because I think it could win if Hillary were forced out.
Hillary is our version of Jeb Bush (softest target).

On one hand, I know what you mean, she's a vulnerable candidate with no accomplishments.
OTOH, too many wymyn might vote for her based only on the vagina factor. And metrosexual men too.
If he chose her for VP Running Mate With High Cheekbone, that would excite the psycho left. They would be a comical pair for the rest of us, but the left would be smitten.
Biden speaking to Warren will generate enough buzz and enthusiasm to last some time, causing hope to spring eternal among deflated Democrats.
I think this is pretty big. The press seems done with Hillary, are mad as hell that she is going to money her way into the nomination, and circumvent both them and the voters.
They are ready for her to go down, if they could just pull out a candidate with a little gravitas, like Biden, in their eyes.

I can see the Gaf-o-matic running in 2016 with his faithful Indian companion.
The fact that Biden said Beau told him to run while he was on his deathbed, Clinton's abruptly interrupted vacation, and now this "confidential" meeting, would seem to suggest that Clinton is pretty much done.
(I won't be sure until they bury her in the crossroads with the stake through her heart.) Still, it's probably all over except for the grand jury indictments, and the presidential pardons.

But back to the subject of this thread - Joe is just being Joe, and the conference with Elizabeth Warren is laying out the strategy and groundwork for the inevitable moment when Herself, Madame Benghazi, the Cold & Joyless, gets frog-marched out of the room, and mysteriously, the Democrats have no front-runner.
Or even any also-rans.
Who would be top dog in that unholy alliance?
