Happy Monday guys and girls, today I’m reacting to a debate between “non-binary transracial” influencer Oli London who is British but identifies as Korean and a woke activist who believes Oli is committing cultural appropriation. This is only a five minute debate but I have a LOT of thoughts. Let’s get into it!

A woman who became infamous for pretending to be Black has spoken up in support of a British social media star who says they identify as Korean. Rachel Dolezal made headlines across the world in 2015 when she was confronted by a journalist and it was revealed she had been pretending to be African American. She later said she identified as a Black woman, despite being very much Caucasian. Now, Dolezal has spoken out in support of British-born Oli London - a YouTuber who goes by they/them pronouns, and has just revealed they identify as Korean. London posted on social...

Black Lives Matter activist and Daily Kos writer Shaun King refuted Wednesday accusations from right wing bloggers that he has lied about being black. King was responding to accusations first published by conservative blogger Vicki Pate, who has admittedly “stalked” King and his family. Pate began writing about King after a dust-up with conservative blogger Chuck C. Johnson over the killing of Michael Brown in Ferguson. Pate uses mostly circumstantial evidence to “prove” King is white, though King claims to be biracial. King, in turn, said his family is mixed to the point that “no two siblings in my family...

It's the second coming of Rachel Dolezal. Shaun King, a prominent leader in the Black Lives Matter movement, may have just been outed as a white man. Boasting a vast following on Twitter, a title as justice columnist for a social progressive website, and acquiring a full-ride college scholarship from Oprah Winfrey to Morehouse (an award designated for black men) are the markings which have made King, 35, a go-to source for breaking news on police brutality against African-Americans around the country. But there seems to be one hitch: He isn't actually black, according to recent findings from conservative news...

Rachel Dolezal, the white woman who passed as black and led an NAACP chapter, is facing a lengthy prison term on welfare fraud charges. Ms. Dolezal, who legally changed her name to Nkechi Diallo in the wake of her “transracial” flap, has been charged with three counts — theft by welfare fraud, perjury, and making false claims to get public assistance. According to KHQ-TV, which broke the charges, she could get up to 15 years in prison. Ms. Dolezal received $8,747 in food assistance, and $100 in childcare assistance, the Spokane, Washington, NBC affiliate reported, citing court documents. She received...

A white woman who claims she is black has been called out for appealing to Black Lives Matter after she was arrested for assaulting a police officer. Victoria Waldrip – who has made a name for herself after mocking black culture on Instagram while claiming to be black – was arrested in shopping centre in North Carolina for kicking a police officer. This is the bed progressives made with "everything is a social construct". Time to lie in it.

Martina Big started out as a white woman, and now she’s here ... with Maury Povich, explaining why she chose to drastically change her appearance. The plastic-surgery-obsessed Big appeared on Maury, wearing a gigantic “Black Girls Rock” necklace and her best kinky weave. Even as the audience sat dumbfounded and confused, you could tell Maury was thinking, “I should have just did my usual paternity-testing show”. “Martina, do you think you’re a black person?” Maury asked. “Yes,” Big replied. “But 80 percent. I have to learn a lot. I know.” Big’s “transitioning” into a black woman included her taking supplements...

In late March, Hypatia, a feminist-philosophy journal, published an article titled “In Defense of Transracialism” by Rebecca Tuvel, an assistant professor of philosophy at Rhodes College in Memphis, as part of its spring 2017 issue. The point of the article, as the title suggests, is to toy around with the question of what it would mean if some people really were — as Rachel Dolezal claimed — “transracial,” meaning they identified as a race that didn’t line up with how society viewed them in light of their ancestry. Tuvel structures her argument more or less as follows: (1) We accept...

It’s been just over three years since Nelson Mandela’s death, and South Africa will soon welcome a new historic figure calling for unity: Rachel Dolezal. The controversial former NAACP leader, who was outed as white in 2015 but who says she “identifies” as black, is headed to Africa to speak in favor of a non-racial society. “Race is a lie,” Dolezal recently told the BBC. “How can I be accused of lying about a lie?” Dolezal, who recently changed her name to Nkechi Amare Diallo, will speak on April 19 at the first inaugural meeting of a group called the...

Controversial race figure Rachel Dolezal is back in the news. After her fall from grace, the self-described “trans-racial” professor and former NAACP chapter president is now out with an autobiography about her saga. And in following interviews, she continues to exasperate even the liberal media by comparing gender with race. Just days after her book’s release, in a March 31 interview with Salon contributing editor Alli Joseph, Dolezal recalled that her story of identifying as a black woman broke around the same time as Caitlyn Jenner’s “transition.” Dolezal complained that race wasn’t accepted like gender in America. […] But many...

I like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. In a dream world the bread is super soft, like the Wonder Bread of my childhood, and the sandwich will have crunchy peanut butter, strawberry jam, and a cup of cold milk to go with it. Maybe PB&J isn't your favorite sandwich, but I want you to imagine your favorite comfort food for a moment. Maybe it's a hamburger, a piece of pie, or a fruit smoothie. Whatever it is, just imagine yourself enjoying the very best version of your very favorite food. It's perfectly delicious. Then, imagine yourself glancing up on the...

Have you ever noticed that whenever liberals say that something won't happen, it happens? Yeah, I've noticed that too. Just weeks after Washington State implemented a new nondiscrimination law that protects "gender identity" a man walked into a women's locker room at a public pool in Seattle, a possibility that liberals had pooh-poohed when passing the bill. Other women were shocked because the man evidenced no outwardly feminine characteristics. This was not a dude carrying a purse and wearing a miniskirt; this was a dude who looked like a dude. He calmly began to undress in front of the women...

I was under the impression that a meeting was being organized to facilitate a genuine exchange on the matters facing millions of Black and Brown people in the United States. Instead, what was arranged was basically a photo opportunity and a 90-second sound bite for the president. I could not, with any integrity, participate in such a sham that would only serve to legitimize the false narrative that the government is working to end police brutality and the institutional racism that fuels it. For the increasing number of families fighting for justice and dignity for their kin slain by police,...

Shaun King: Trump’s plan to deport millions of immigrants in short time is comparable to Nazis’ rounding up of Jews BY SHAUN KING Last week I said that Donald Trump’s immigration plans were frighteningly similar to Nazi Germany. To double down on the comparison, let's actually examine Trump's campaign decree that he would "round up" 11 million undocumented immigrants in 24 months and drop them off across the border. TRUMP DOUBLES DOWN ON COMMENTS THAT BLAME BUSH FOR 9/11 That's 458,333 per month or 15,278 people per day — for two years straight. First, let me give you some scale:

Vice President Joe Biden made a surprise visit to Washington, D.C.’s Naval Observatory on Saturday for a confidential talk with Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), CNN reported. Biden’s return to the District comes amid buzz he is seriously weighing a 2016 Oval Office bid. CNN said that two sources confirmed the pair’s face-to-face, the biggest indicator yet that Biden is seriously tempted by an Oval Office bid next year.“The vice president traveled last minute to Washington, D.C. for a private meeting and will be returning to Delaware,” an aide told CNN. Biden spokeswoman Kendra Barkoff declined further comment on the alleged...

Verda Byrd spent the past seven decades of her life as a black woman, but at age 70, she discovered a shocking family secret her parents took to their grave that she's recently made peace with -- she was born white. Byrd, now 72, was adopted as a baby in 1943 by her black parents, who never told her that her biological parents were actually white, she said, explaining that she only uncovered the truth in 2013 about her birth after she went on a search for her biological parents' history.

ESPN radio host and TV commentator Bomani Jones wrote in a series of emotional messages on Twitter yesterday that "it is white people's responsibility to fix racism" and that white people need to think about their "complicity in the racism of America." In the tweets, which were first reported by the Social Memo, Jones called out "white supremacy" and "privilege," while also saying that liberals and conservatives are part of that structure, if they're white. Over the course of a few hours, Jones went from analyzing racism in the United States to telling white people that they need to analyze...

Democratic presidential candidate Martin O’Malley suggested Sunday that Congress had fallen under the sway of "white racism" and the political force of the National Rifle Assn. in refusing to respond with new laws to a cascade of shooting incidents in recent years.. Speaking before the nation’s mayors, gathered in San Francisco, O’Malley pointed to gun restrictions passed when he was governor of Maryland to ban assault weapons, enforce background checks and tighten permitting procedures -- efforts that have been blocked at the national level by Republicans, and some Democrats, in Congress. "One of the sad triumphs of white racism is...
