I am married for nearly 34 years to horror of horrors a vegan, Libertarian, evnvironmentalist. My husband and I live on Staten Island in NYC and we have three wonderful, conservative human children, and five furry children, three cats and two dogs. I am a life-long Republican even though I came from a working class family. I voted for Nixon in 1972 and have never regretted it. Sometimes RINOs get under my skin, but as flawed as they are they are a heck of a lot better than Democrats. I supported President Bush and our troops. Currently I support our troops but not the current CIC.
