The larger and more damaging factor is the fact that men, real heterosexual men, trained from birth to protect women, will default to this position over all other mission considerations. In addition, there will inevitably be all sorts of "love triangular drama" infecting the ranks. This will lead to breakdowns in unit combat effectiveness and be a causal effect of failure and defeat.
Of course, the whole purpose behind feminizing and anything goes sex freaking of our military is to weaken it to such a state that it becomes completely ineffective against any threat.

I have no objection if they keep the same standard. My guess though is that, if this is done honestly, no woman alive would pass SEAL training. Very few of the most fit men in the world pass. Given the gap between male and female strength and endurance, even a female Olympic athlete would be unlikely to pass.

I do, although, I think that women should be taught to defend themselves and be gun owners.
Boys are girls are boys, etc. so you have to portray women in the same roles to destroy Traditions and Worldview in Christians which is based on Reason and Science (Laws of Nature). Our culture is attempting to warp the worldview of children by positing irrational concepts (Marxism) which conditions them to “see” women are men and two men are the same as the unity of a male and female—who can truly unite because of one-half of the reproduction system.
Putting women in combat roles denies the differences between male and female and removes women (the weaker sex) from the pedestal which gave them dignity and is conditioning them to destroy their nurturing instincts so they will easily kill their own genetic offspring even after they are born.
Christianity and Natural Law recognizes individuality-—uniqueness which has to include the role differences (biology) in males and females. To disregard Truth and Science is Marxism. Hierarchy is natural to all animals, for radical egalitarianism (Marxism) creates inefficiency and irrationality and a complete destruction of Excellence. And that is what the Marxists are doing: destroying the Christian Worldview to destroy Virtue (Excellence) and collapse the culture.
The Marxists have to corrupt the minds of the children, as Lenin stated—to “see” irrationality as normal, to flip good and evil, and erase Truth (God) and Natural Law (God’s Design), so that children will be devoid of Wisdom and will never be able to be critical thinkers (educated) because all their assumptions are cr*p—boys are girls are boys and vice is virtue...irrational Marxism.
Everywhere that women have gone in the military, the standards have been lowered for them, and then the school degrades for everyone.
Females cannot be with males in the real male world, without them having a corrosive effect.
Currently, when the military has standards that women can't pass, the military is being required to justify that standard.
