AG Jeff Sessions will recuse himself "from any investigations related to the Trump campaign"
By Laz A. Mataz

Saw this press conference. AG Sessions has decided to recuse himself "from any investigations related to the Trump campaign".

I felt it was a very weak performance by AG Sessions, by the way.

I felt he did not explain well, the difference between the question Frankin asked, and the accusations made thereafter.

They are completely different questions.

From the Brietbart article: “The hook on which the Post attempts to hang Sessions is that he did not disclose the meetings to the Senate when he was asked about “possible contacts between members of President Trump’s campaign and representatives of Moscow.” Sessions’s spokesperson at the Department of Justice, Sarah Isgur Flores, says his answer in January was truthful because he was asked about “the Trump campaign — not about meetings he took as a senator and a member of the Armed Services Committee.”

I lost count of how many times he said “I don’t recall”...

Sessions acted like an idiot. What the off? All he had to do is list all the DummycRats who met with the Russians. Remind MSM that Hillary as SOS sold 20% of the US’ uranium resources to Russia and profited from it. He should also remind MSM that Obama secretly told the Russian President that he would have “more flexibility after the” US “elections” to screw the US.

EPIC FAIL

He said he doe snot have all his staff yet, and yet then states he took the advice from his staff. That means his staff have obama left overs, and he takes advice form them!!! WTH is he doing. Fire them and get rid of every obama left over.ASAP.
He does not even have his number two in position yet!!!!

Go after obama, Soros, and Clinton. There is a massive trial of evidence for them.

As usual, our side thinks it always has to play by the rules that democrats set up for us while they never pay any attention to any ethics.

Getting really tired of this merry-go-round they always play.

It was a good performance by Sessions. His straight-arrow personality always comes through when he speaks. Once he was done there really wasn’t much of an opening for the MSM to poke at.

This is a wasted effort. His opponents won't respect him for it; and his supporters wouldn't ask for it.

And the Democrats will point to his recusal as a sign that he thinks he did something wrong.

He had all day to prepare his press conference. He could have done a much better job laying out the differences between the question and the current accusation.

Also, from seeing his performance today, I personally question if he’s got the fire and stones to take the prosecution to the people who need it: Clinton. Obama. Holder. Jarret.

Which one is that?

He was going to have to recuse under the DOJ rules because the FBI looked at his contacts (harmless as they were), and because he was a surrogate for the campaign. He did nothing wrong. But his work with Trump on the campaign clearly justifies recusal from an investigation of the campaign. Another point - we don’t even know if there is an investigation because USDOJ and the FBI don’t confirm the existence of investigations (unless its that idiot Comey).

The administration can now answer any further questions regarding Sessions as “asked and answered” and “old news.”

He should not have recused himself. Now the Democrats smell blood in the water and will step up their efforts to drive hin out of office. The Democrats and their flunkies in the media will portray Sessions’ recusal as tantamount to an admission of guilt. The only way to fight these people is to stand your ground and never give them an inch. You cannot play nice with Democrats.
