On Tuesday September 10, Jeb Bush, chairman of the board for the National Constitution Center and former governor of Florida, presented former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton with the groups annual Liberty Medal. It is widely speculated that both Bush and Clinton will run for their partys nomination for the presidency in 2016.
It is hard to understand why Gov. Bush would want to bolster Secretary Clintons credentials in such a way...
In fact, following her stint as Secretary of State, it has been argued that America has never been more irrelevant and disrespected on the world stage...
She accomplished nothing of note while in the Senate and destroyed Americas reputation on the world stage as Secretary of State, yet a likely Republican candidate for President in 2016 has chosen to bolster her credibility in all of these areas with this award.
It is possible that Gov. Bush thinks this move will benefit him in his run for the Republican nomination for president in 2016, or maybe he truly believes Clinton is worthy of this award. Regardless, he has proven himself unworthy of leading this country by choosing Mrs. Clinton as the beneficiary of the National Constitution Centers annual Liberty Medal.
By choosing her and personally presenting the award to her, it shows that Bush either does not understand or does not care that Clinton has done nothing but fight against true constitutional principles her entire public career, including advocating for universal, affordable healthcare. People who do not care for or understand true constitutional principles are unfit for the Presidency and this act should disqualify Bush for the 2016 Republican nomination for President.

"Mr Bush... we know for a fact that Americans died in Benghazi and at the hands of al qaeda and the muslim brotherhood. We know that this president and this woman... hillary clinton... SoS... lied to the people of the United States and the world when she said that Benghazi was a response to some obscure You Tube video and we know that she has lied to Congress and that her past is filled with massive failures as well as crimes.
We know that this administration refused to send help to those brave American Heroes that were on the scene and trying to help save the lives of our people. We also know that this administration refused to and/or failed to order assets to the scene... assets that were available and that could have been used to engage the enemy and defend our people on the ground.
We know that one American thought help was coming because of STANDARD OPERATING RULES... and he died waiting... and painting a target for an F-18 that never showed up. We know that this administration has responded in Congressional Hearings with nothing but lies and silence in covering up the truth of what happened in Libya. We know that Kadaffi was murdered and sodomized with a bayonet. We know that Libya is in anarchy and that al qaeda and the muslim brotherhood are running wild in Libya.
We know that weapons from Libya are spreading all over Africa and the ME. We know that hillary clinton had her hands and State Department directly involved with radical islamic warriors... terrorists within the muslim brotherhood and how they supported the overthrow of Mubarak of Egypt and the ensuing violence, destruction and death that followed... as it always does when obama and hillary clinton become involved. KNOWING ALL OF THESE THINGS... how could you Mr Bush... how could you place an award upon the head of such a person"?
Unity ticket?
Where will Mclame fit in?-
Secretary of War+Secretary of state combined!
LOL
I think Jeb Bush will be he VP pick.
I think Jeb Bush will be her VP pick.
The key to understanding our situation is, of all things, John Boehner and his “leadership” team. It’s very important to understand that they were more scared by 2010 than the Democrats were.
The situation is that, if they nominate Dole, or McCain, or Romney, or HW Bush, or Bush II, we are supposed to pitch in and go all out. But if we nominate Goldwater, or Reagan, or Cruz, or Palin, THEY reserve the right to go the other way. McCain himself was able to exercise self-restraint with regard to Palin, but not his hirelings. They did everything they could to make it clear that she was “not one of us”.
So who are “us”? Who are the Republicans on the Hill?
They are people who have enjoyed a certain amount of success in life. They are educated in the same systems, often in the same places, as their Democrat counterparts. They marry into the same families, they take their bribes from the same places, they go to the same churches (if they go at all), and they share fundamental assumptions about the state, the government, and the people they “represent”. As someone said, they are farmers, we are cows.
Of course there are pragmatic disagreements that exist between them and their “friends across the aisle”. Just how much should be stolen from producers? Just how many new regulatory bodies should be created in a two-year House term? What is the correct way to nationalize hospitals and medical practices, pharmaceutical companies and device inventors? How fast should jobs be moved overseas, and how much bribe money is too much for non-members of the tax-writing committees?
But between the majority of the House GOP caucus and virtually all GOP Senators, and the Ted Cruz/Mike Lee/Sarah Palin people, there is a gap of oceanic proportions. The GOP is NOT THE VEHICLE by which the Cruz/Lee/Palin vision will be realized, if it ever is.
That vision, which is our vision too, dismantles the state as it exists, eliminates or severely restricts the unelected “fourth branch”, and cuts off the river of filthy cash that makes every Member of Congress a multi-millionaire by the time he or she retires.
To Harry Reid, this looks like anarchy. In a sense, he is correct. So be it.
WE are forces of chaos and anarchy
Everything that they say we are, we are
AND we are very proud of ourselves - Paul Kantner 1969
If the GOP nominee is Cruz or Palin, you are absolutely right. It's their trump card, and they run a huge risk dropping the mask.
But they cannot and will not allow the game to stop, so if they must do that, they certainly will.
Sorry for the modification. IMHO, America is now Sodom and Gomorrah redux.

Jeb Bush is the Chairman, if you look at the link, “Board of Trustees.” What is most surprising, is the list of past recipients. Link below.
From the article: “It is hard to understand why Gov. Bush would want to bolster Secretary Clintons credentials in such a way... “
Oh, please. They’re simply two candidates within the same chummy uniparty.
“Two turds from the same pig.”
Crude, insensitive, graphic, and accurate.
Keep up the good work!
I thought I had read reports, from people on twitter, who had watched the even live, that Jeb backed out of giving her the award, but was present - and gave some rah-rah speech, but stopped short of handing her the award.
There were progressives on Twitter who were bemoaning Jes’s actions at the time of the event.
I wonder what really happened? I missed watching it by a few mins.
The late Jack Cox told the true GHWB story in a 1964 U.S. Senate primary in TX. TX Repblican primary voters thought they saw a winner in GHWB. And Cox’s brief political career ended. Cox brought up all the family’s international entanglements.
Will baby Bush win the Land Com. position?
