You see it as an attack on .2%.

I see it as a defense on the majority of small businesses who create most of the jobs.

This bill would have made it harder on Obama to get his way on the bill and also would have put pressure on him to offer more cuts in spending to get a deal and that's fine by me.

Downside to that is Cantor is next in line.

I wouldn’t worry about Cantor.

How does Madame Speaker Pelosi sound? She is the one next in line now that the stupid party circular firing squad has cleared a gap in the lines.

The best thing the gop could do would be to liquidate. Close it’s doors. Let some other political party replace them.

But alas, that won’t happen and we’ll watch the gop slowly collapse as it’s so-called leaders claw and fight for scraps of power until the party finally is no more.

RE :”Too bad the GOP nominated Romney and pushed and changed rules and cheated to get him as a losing candidate.
Maybe next time, someone could run a conservative.”

Well putting Romney up to be the poster boy of why upper income tax cuts help us all was idiotic. He was the worst one to pick.
It was doomed plan from the start, just like what we see going on now.

I was sure he would lose just as I know how this will play out.

This bill would have basically admitted that the Bush-Era, and tax cuts in general caused the current economic issues we face. Issues caused by government expansion. (spending)

Don't think so because it would have put pressure on Obama to cut spending more.

Not likely.

Her election as Speaker would require that 17 Republicans vote for her, instead of another Republican.

Not...going...to...happen.

*Sigh* You truly don’t understand that, short of Boehner agreeing with Obama’s ghoulish plan 100%, there was never going to be any “deal”. You can’t “negotiate” with a Communist. Bob

BLA-BLA, I posted his exact text in the last comment for everyone to read,

Now lets move on to something relevant like why my taxes are going up when the so called ‘tax increase’ bill was defeated by *real* conservatives to stop a tax increase.
Something stinks.

Good, let sequestration come. No more kicking the can down the road.

short of Boehner agreeing with Obama’s ghoulish plan 100%,

Which plan is that...raising tax on $250,000+ or $400,000+?

Not touching entitlements or chaining SS to the CPI?

Refusing to bend on payroll tax hikes or changing his mind and allowing them?

Obama is changing his mind all the time depending on how much pressure he's under.

BTW "Obama's ghoulish plan" to not extend the Bush tax cuts last year ended up changing to a plan to extend the Bush tax cuts.

It plays out with your ox getting gored this time, instead of mine. Mine? It's dead and gone.

If you aren't going to hit your knees and thank God above that you still have an income, I'll do it for you. It's not like I'm busy.

Well, you are too upset to talk to right now. And understandably so. This stinks to high heaven of collusion by both parties to do what they always do...get more money.

But please, don’t be so disrespectful of others by putting words in their mouths.

Well not now obviously but why do you think she stuck around? Dims smell blood and think they can steamroll the GOP House. They are off to a great start now after this gift tonight.

That is a nonstarter. Tax bills cannot originate in the Senate.

I'm ok with that, but it's gonna be like a whole pack of hounds peed on an electric fence at the same time. I'm mostly deef, but I'll wear muffs.

We've got some here on FR that expect what they've always had to keep on keeping on.

“Reid passes a bill through the senate to preserve the Bush tax cuts for $250k and below, and then dares the House to reject it? “

As I understand it, this sort of bill has to originate in the house...

That's all he ever needed to say...starting months ago.
