Gene Construction Confirms Creation

by Brian Thomas, M.S.*

The fruit fly has been a leading model organism for genetics research the past hundred years. A new biotechnology-based study of this key organism has yielded more evidence for special creation...

Then why are we so fragile? *wonderfully made* creations don’t have as many flaws as we do.

of course, it is painfully obvious to all but the most stridently mililtant worshippers at the altar of darwin, that God is behind all of this...

bet they hate it when science confirms more of God’s handiwork.

but those creatures that are in a downward spiral due to original sin, are fragile..thus here we are...

Get down on your knees and pray for God to open your eyes, and then read Genesis. Pay particular attention to the consequences of Adam and Eve’s fall in the Garden of Eden.

I agree, the Evos have no choice but to bury their collective heads in the sand when it comes to the design implications of systems genetics.

Then why are we so fragile?

If we're so fragile, how'd life survive long enough to evolve over the millions of years claimed?

*wonderfully made* creations don’t have as many flaws as we do.

Wonderfully made creations were made perfectly. Didn't you ever hear of mutations? The same feature that allows for unlimited variety allows for error under the right circumstances. That doesn't mean that they will remain perfect, especially once the second law kicks in.

And it just goes to show how dangerous mutations can be (not to mention how implausible evolution is), given the fact that a single mutation can interfere with not just genes, but clusters of genes!

All evidence, properly evaluated, confirms creation.

Which is exactly what you and your ilk want for Americans, to live in ignorance.

You are so desperate to have everyone else think like you do it’s painful to watch. I guess it’s time for me to stop watching.

I didn’t see the part where the scientists who conducted the research confirmed that the fruit flies didn’t evolve.

How many fruit flies had to die for this testing? We must protect the little fruit fly and banish all fruit fly testing.

and then read Genesis

Genesis was written by someone who didn't know that the Earth was round. If Genesis mentioned DNA or microscopic organisms, I'd be intrigued.

But it's written in a fashion that is completely parallel with a Bronze Age understanding of the universe.

Last I checked...”After 80 years and millions of generations of fruit flies subjected to X rays and chemicals which cause mutations, all they have been able to produce are more of the same: fruit flies.”

I haven’t read it. My prediction: a scientific study done by a real scientist, interpreted by the ICR to a conclusion that does not follow the real scientist’s conclusions.
