Board seats, many on wealthy "non-profits," seem to have become more fashionable as a great way to make payoffs to favored friends. It is hard to prove quid pro quo in such cases.

But Obama working on a “non-profit” was an act of charitable kindness, right? That’s how it was portrayed to us on the news.

“Mr. Ryan, a Republican, is serving a 6-year prison sentence”
Funny the only time a political party was mentioned, I wonder why?
To: Prole
This cannot be true, 9% Nancy Pelosi, said she was going to end the culture of corruption....

Doesn't Illinois have laws against bribery and such? What gives the Federal Government the right to interfere in this matter? (Yes, I know I'm old fashioned.)

Yeah, I noticed that too. Only Republicans are mentioned by party affiliation whenever an arrest is made.
Democrats who are arrested are intentionally and ambiguously referred to as "politicians."
It's bullsh!t.

I am amazed that any Governor would promote civil unrest and resort to what appears to be extortion.

The FNC front page is loaded with stories about the problems wrought by democrats.
Nancy Pelosi is now referred to as the "Car Czar."
I suspect with these communists running America's auto industry, we will all end up with Ladas and Trabants for cars.
There is another story about the homosexuals who refuse to work tomorrow.
I say fire them all on grounds of "failure to report."

Chicago gangsters have typically been anti-commie. They did not want to kill the host upon which they resided.
This Kenyan Commie will teach them and US a lesson if we let him. He and his friends aim to destroy us.

Doesn't Illinois have laws against bribery and such?I just heard that the "law" doesn't take effect until Jan. 1, hehehehehe. The good DIMocrat Gov. was trying to get all his apples in the cart BEFORE the law took effect!

Are you not watching news. Already, the political pundits are in full force to remind viewers that Obama has nothing to do with the governor, Rahm Immanuel, and Tony Rezko. They all just lived in Chicago and Obama also lived there.
I don’t remember a new administration getting in with a big cloud of corruption.

Only Republicans are mentioned by party affiliation whenever an arrest is made. So the default assumption to be made when a pol is arrested, only to be overridden if affiliation is actually given, is that the arrested pol is a Democrat.
Sounds about right to me.
