Is this garbage illegal alien / faux national security bill going to pass?

Anyone know if Bush has rammed this pro-Mexico illegal alien bill through?

Looks like Bush is an open borders RINO. Please note I am a Bush volunteer and wrote a lot of checks to the RNC and Bush-Cheney 04. I guess my money really is going to Senor Vicente Fox aka narco trafficker.

Yeah I do like Pat Buchanan and Savage.

I fail to understand what a Federal Intelligence organization bill has to do with immigration, legal or otherwise.

I'm not getting the "stabbed in the back" part...

Bush wants to create a system where Mexicans that want to work in the U.S. that have employer sponsors can be allowed in with an ID card so that we can figure out who they all are, and where they work.

So? Isn't that better than NOT knowing who they all are and where they work?

Bush's plan presupposes that people who have been here for years illegally and with impunity will all of a sudden decide to obey the law. I am not gullible enough to think they will.

OK... so we should let the illegals keep doing what they've been doing?

Sorry, I don't get it. We're completely failing to track immigrant labor, so we shouldn't try to find some way to better track it?

I agree that the bill on terrorism is a farce. I also suported Bush but he is wrong about the open borders.

Right. You think these illegal aliens are suddenly going to start obeying our immigration/work permit laws and we're suddenly going to start enforcing them.

, and where they work.
So? Isn't that better than NOT knowing who they all are and where they work?

No. They came here to be serfs and let them continue as illegal alien serfs. The country club Republicans want cheap labor so now we have a class of imported serfs. Never legalize them

We have open borders? Dang... I'll bet that comes as a surprise to the thousands of people in the Border Patrol.

Somebody should tell them. Its really not fair to make them keep patrolling if we have open borders anyway.

Playing dumb on purpose? What makes you think they are going to all of sudden follow the law? What incentive do they have under Bush's plan to come out of the dark and expose themselves? We need to elininate the illegals first then implement some sort of worker plan. Not just forgive them years of breaking the law.

Unless the penalty for failing to register is upped to something like death by hanging... maybe.

And anyhow, why let just Mexican people cut in line? Why not let everyone who can manage to sneak in have an amnesty? Shoot why even have a line, just make it a cross country race across the border for all peoples?

Not running for re-election allows Congress to operate without accountability for about 3 years ...

Accounts can be settled in two. Remember 1994!

You're absolutely right...

Every day as I drive through the hordes of high school students that are protesting because they can't get jobs doing housekeeping in hotels, or get jobs picking apples in Washington...

I mean... we've got people just *lining up* for those jobs and they're just being stolen by all this immigrant labor... right from under their noses.

Yup. Gotta stop that.

Bush has a fetish for hispanics. He never talks about any other ethnic immigrant. He doesn't go to China or Japan or Poland or Russia or Ireland to beg their leaders to love him.

Its the FTAA. He wants to integrate North and South America into a hemispheric union like the European Union. He thinks its a good thing, that are soon to be partners Venezuela and Argentina are making deals with China so that China can establish a presence in our hemisphere and influence those countries to vote against us whenever possible. Once this trade deal is passed, of course it will require supranational bodies for governance, obsoleting our United States Constitution.

Oh I see, now. You are one of those guys. Never met an illegal you didn't like/hire/love/respect.

How about enforcing the laws we already have?

Sensenbrenner was the last holdout and it sounds like the administration railroaded him.

I had to laugh when I heard that the republican leadership promised the holdouts that they will take up the 911 immigration reforms in a separate bill next year. As if that will ever happen. The Libs and Open Border RINOs have to go if America is to have any chance of surviving as a sovereign country.

Not at all. I think illegal immigrants should be deported instantly. I only wish we had a way to do so.

As it is, we don't even know who they are.

There is a mechanism that addresses such Constitutional infractions and breaches of duty.....
