A Conversation with myself about Putin.
Vanity | 03-04-2022 | Chuckles

Posted on 03/04/2022 12:08:27 PM PST by chuckles

I'm now 70 years old and have seen a lot in my life. I spent the early years of my life under a school desk covering my head and closing my eyes to keep from being blinded by the nuclear flash that was coming because Russia was filled with Commies. I saw the Democrat party run KKK grand Wizards for public office and stand in school house doorways. I saw gas lines 4 hours long to buy 35 cent gas.

But I also saw JFK stand up in Russia's grill and blockade Cuba. After kissing Iran's ass for over a year under Carter, I saw Reagan free the hostages just by being elected and taking office. I saw the Berlin Wall fall just by Reagan making a speech.

Today, I've seen Putin hold off his ultimatum's because he didn't want to challenge Trump. We are looking at Russian truck tires flat just by rolling 300-400 miles. we see a conscript army crying to go home because nobody told them they would be shooting their own people. Their food expired in 2015. We know they have the economy of a country smaller than Italy. We already see trouble at home in Russia. Most of us are dreaming of flying an A-10 Warthog over a 40 mile road to take out 80% of Putin's armor that I don't believe he can replace.

We are being warned of $5 gas and $40 a lbs meat.

All I hear from our side is "We can't do anything because Putin has nukes". Putin has always had nukes. I agree it's a gamble to ship equipment with "USA" printed on the side, but I don't think Putin wants to die anymore than we do. Are we going to fight wars with the whole world except for China and Russia and maybe Iran because they have nukes? We all know any day now China is going to hit Taiwan for no other reason than Republicans and Trump will be here as soon as November.

I'm just thinking after 70 years of living with commie assholes, they tend to back down when challenged. All we need is a challenger, even if it's from France or England, we might be surprised at the result. I know people are reading this saying "Yeah! Your gambling with my life and my grandchildren's lives". In fact, what I'm suggesting is I don't want to live anymore licking Putin's boots. All I'm seeing is country after country saying putting up a No Fly Zone would start WWIII. Unless Putin really is mentally ill, He would have to know someone has a set of balls as big as mine and I better watch out. If he is mentally ill, ask yourself if you want your family to live the next 50 years bowing down to a nutcase?

Anybody that has graduated high school must know by now you will spend your whole life on your knees to a bully that gets away with bullying. What I'm saying is we need to do what is necessary to win and put Putin back in the dark ages.

I think most of us here respect Trump. I can tell you Putin and Xi fear him. What would Trump do? We need a new T-shirt with WWTD on it. Are we not going to reelect Trump because he might make Putin and Xi mad?

We are watching daily the Ukrainians fighting for their lives because nobody is helping them knowing even an-armchair general that fought in Viet Nam would have already smashed Russia and have $2 gas and eat meat every day. I'm afraid that talking about Russia's nukes every day will just get us a result that looks a lot like Viet Nam.

Many of you are probably saying "He's 70 years old and doesn't have that much longer to live anyway. I just know what it's like to live in fear of an asshole with nukes since I was under a desk back in the 60's with people telling me it would be possible to live through a nuke by crawling under a desk. Well, we have nukes also. And I'm betting ours are better than his.

Every hour that goes by now is costing lives and just extending the inevitable. Remembering we actually saved lives by dropping the bombs on Japan, why not just call Putin's bluff and send in Warthogs to fart on America's enemy's once more. If Putin does decide to pull the trigger, well, the Bible says he will pull the trigger anyway in Ezekiel 38-39. Russia loses.

The problem is that we don't fight wars like we used to. I don't want to fight Russia or anybody else with the "win over hearts and minds" attitude Bush defined our Afghanistan war --- while ground zero in NYC was still smoking.

If we won't go into war to actually win then we have no business going to war at all, especially if it's none of our business anyway like Ukraine.

The best part of those gas lines was the guy, without using a gun, walked from the back of the line, toward the front of the line getting a bunch of sucker's to "PAY-IN-ADVANCE," then just walk away with the cash.

Is this a great country or what.

IIRC even Late Night with Johnny Carson did a joke about this guy, grabbing the cash. LOL

I couldn't agree more. This is Europe's problem. NO MORE AMERICA LIVES OR MAIMING FOR NON-NATIONAL SECURITY INTERESTS.

Hate to be the one to say it, but the leaders of your own country are commie assholes with nukes.

..."but I don't think Putin wants to die anymore than we do."

Who's to say that Putin isn't already dying from some disease, and is ready to go down in a "blaze of glory"?

If you're going to poke the bear - which we are very much doing - we'd best be ready for the claws.

“If Putin does decide to pull the trigger, well, the Bible says he will pull the trigger anyway in Ezekiel 38-39. Russia loses.”

From that perspective, that is why I think diplomacy will prevail with Ukraine.

Putin gets destroyed along with the entire Russian nation in Ezekiel 38 & 39.

“... JFK stand up in Russia’s grill and blockade Cuba....”

The solution to the Cubna Missile Crisis was a bit of diplomatic tit-for-tat. We removed our Jupiter missiles (IRBMs) from Turkey (Which were there before the Castro regime!) they remove their versions of that type of missile from Cuba. Look at a map and you will see there’s not much difference range-wise. The JFK-LBJ administrations & cooperating media kept that information well buried and off the front page.

We can go to the mat on this one. I know we can, but why should we? Ain’t this a European problem? If the UK, the French. Or the Germans feel so strongly, than they can send troops now outside of NATO.

I didn't say American lives need be involved. Just send a dozen A 10's to Ukraine. Putin will squawk and yell, but is that enough to trigger WW3?

What everyone seems to be saying is we MUST lose to save us from nuke war. We might as well bomb Ukraine ourselves to just continue to do nothing.

Plus I disagree that we have no National Security Interests. If Putin knows we will not respond to his building back the Soviet Empire, then get ready to have the Soviet empire back. I lived through that my whole life. Reagan fixed it.

It would be interesting if you are going to vote for Trump. I can guarantee you one of the first questions that he will be asked is "What are you going to do about Ukraine?" I cannot believe he will say...."Nothing!"

You and Chuck Todd are on the same page, and that doesn’t give you pause.

You didn’t learn much in those 70 years, did ya?

it has been a long time since the US has fought a war to win, to obliterate the enemy.
Too much namaste in our armed forces these days.
But I agree with you.

I agree with you 100%, but they won't do anything just like they did against Hitler with Chamberlain. If they do nothing, then we will end up with the old Soviet Union back while we watch.

What I wanted to highlight in this post was Putin starts out on the ropes. He has no equipment left, he has no food for his troops, and his troops are already in poor morale. Just the slightest help from the west could change the outcome of the war, but everyone is afraid of a nuclear escalation.

All I'm saying is 5 years from now we will be directly affected by the Soviet Union's revival. You have to know that Trump will NOT let the chance to embarrass Biden will pass. Trump is not afraid of threats from bullies and will do what is called for to win.

I lived through the Cold War also during 11 years Navy, and being chased by Soviet ships. I'm saying this seems to be a conflict between west Ukraine and east Ukraine and Russia. Let them fight it out. He wouldn't dare attack a NATO ally. He knows what that will bring. However yes, I hate Putin's imperialistic ambitions. Let Europe deal with it. They've been sucking on our military might for too long.

NO MORE AMERICAN LIVES OR LOST LIMBS FOR THIS REGIONAL CONFLICT!

I am a believer in the Sun Tzu approach to tactics.

We have a horrific clown occupying the WH, have insane and stupid generals and admirals.

This is not the time to fight a war.

Get the adults back in charge and then we can talk....

I suggest you contact your local BLM or Antifa representative.

They have a direct line to the White House, FBI, CIA and many Courts, and can help you avoid red tape to implement your solution immediately.

I know enough to NOT watch Chuck Todd. I've done all right in my 70 years. I know enough that if someone eff's with me or my family, they will get the business end of my 1911. Ukraine is just running out of ammo and nobody is stepping up.

I'm just amazed that everyone is speculating that the smart move is to let Putin win and stay out of it. I'll be interested in how many Trump supporters will have to swallow their load when he pokes the bear and you know he will. What exactly was Russia doing to the USA when Regan said "Tear down this wall!"
