I lived through the Cold War also during 11 years Navy, and being chased by Soviet ships. I'm saying this seems to be a conflict between west Ukraine and east Ukraine and Russia. Let them fight it out. He wouldn't dare attack a NATO ally. He knows what that will bring. However yes, I hate Putin's imperialistic ambitions. Let Europe deal with it. They've been sucking on our military might for too long.

My FRiend, I agree with you 100%. Europe needs to bleed for Europe. I am way past sending our soldiers to bleed and die over every squabble around the world. Europe needs to deal with this.
