Christianity had entered Sudan through the persecuted followers who escaped Egyptian territories which was occupied by the Romans who fought the new religion at first, but when Christianity became the Empire's religion the missionary movement became active and took a formal push in the reign of the Emperor Justinian in the years 517 AD -565 AD.
The first mission sent from Constantinople to Nubia was under the chairmanship of a priest called "Julian" in 543 AD. With the support of Empress "Theodora", "Julian" stayed in Nubia and succeeded to some extent in spreading Christianity among the Nubian Gentiles. Then at about 569 AD "Julian" was succeeded by Longinus, who spent a period of seven years preaching Christianity between Nobatians, and then traveled to the south in 580 AD.
The kingdoms of Alawa and Nobatia at the time were followers of the Jacobite church, while the people of Megara Kingdom were followers of the Melkite church.
However, the majority of the country of Sudan remained unbelievers until the mid-sixth century AD, when preaching Christianity began on a large scale. Historical sources relate that the Rev. c. Fanteni mentioned that Nubia lands in general had been converted to Christianity starting in the year 543 AD to the year AD 580 by the Byzantine missionaries from Constantinople.
The kings and Queens of Nubia were the first to be guided to Christianity. Their subjects soon followed suit, and it was then ripe for the Kings to make it the official religion of their kingdoms. And thus officially Christianity was the state religion of the three Nubian kingdoms since the mid-sixth century AD and until the fifteenth century AD, and remained the dominant religion among ruling parties from Aswan to Soba.

Not only read it, but you have to write it 100 times on the blackboard.
Fred will never finish. He'll chalk on that assignment.
What, pray tell, is a blackboard?? Maybe I'll just use this instead.
