9 Jul 10 - Fourteen earthquakes have occurred below Iceland's Mýrdalsjökull glacier during the past 48 hours - one within the last 4 hours. Katla Volcano lies beneath the Mýrdalsjökull glacier.
Katla Volcano usually erupts every century, says Iceland's President Olafur Grimsson. and the last eruption was in 1918. "The time for Katla to erupt is coming close."
"I don't say if, but I say when Katla will erupt," Grimsson says. "We have been waiting for that eruption for several years."
"It can create, for a long period, extraordinary damage to modern advanced society."

All over the Midwest, Mid-Souf', Eastern Seaboard, etc. ~ this last winter's snows and cold were enough to create serious and widespread road damage ~ much of it hasn't shown up until June/July simply because the damage was UNDERNEATH the last pavement job and it had to work its way to the top to get washed out by intense rains this last May/June.
We had some stretches of Interstate and Interstate quality roads in the DC suburbs that showed up a couple of weeks ago with cave-in strips between main lanes. One of those events happened near us on our way home from IKEA in Woodbridge VA. There were about 20 cars pulled over to the side of the highway waiting for the insurance examiners to check 'em out. At the same time VDOT had a contractor on the spot digging out the broken pavement and putting in new asphalt. That strip was a good 100 feet long.
That's why I wouldn't worry too much about cracks in pavement ~ YET.
Best to get the county out there fixing the pavement.

Is that bacon pretty good? Its great if heated in a microwave for 30 seconds or so on a paper towel. I don't like it cold right out of the can. If you want an idea of what it tastes like go to Costco and get a package of the precooked Hormel bacon. Same same.

I have to go to work, but will try to put up more details later. I'd like to hear more. I have the same theory but for a much longer time frame.
Thanks!

thanks for the ping DC - Can’t say for sure the extent of what they imply as far as an impending eruption - I don’t read islandic ! However, checking quickly it doesn’t appear anything is impending on a short term - things are rather quiet - and I’d expect a lot more seismic activity if magma was moving into positions for a Katla eruption. 14 quakes in 48 hours doesn’t seem to meet that threshold yet.

Looks like another webbot hit, to me. Lookin' for 2 more major geological events in the next 60 days. This could easily turn into one of them. No additional details yet...

I assume theres no further markers, locations, hints etc.? I found evaluation errors in a couple of my models, so I'm reforming several of the process templates.
Nothing new yet.

If I may. A cardinal cross is an astrological configuration that doesn't have any measurable, demonstrated, factually supported, or otherwise valid effect on anything here on earth. To think that the position of the planets can in any way, shape, or form lead to any geophysical outcome on this planet completely ignores the product of a couple of thousand years of scientific endeavor. To pretend otherwise is the folly of idiots.

To pretend otherwise is the folly of idiots. It's not a cause. It's a harmonic symptom of a larger underlying wave function.

Anxiously awaiting a link to any of a number of geophysical journals containing anything that shows the type of correlation you seem to idiotically support. Why don’t you go have a reading done?

Time for you to have your fear of knowledge treated by application of leaches. Message for you from the Flat Earthers: Don't travel by train. Acceleration beyond 5pmh will result in your death.

Stormer, there are more things under the sun than even the most stubborn scientists can imagine.
Someday, these will rediscover what their predecessors understood, but they will have to find a new name for it. It would be hard to write grant proposals using traditional language, would’t it!
Perhaps a little research will turn up some of the more contemporary terms....

Flat Earther, huh? Whatever. When you have an actual point to make, get back to me. Hope you don’t get lost in the moronic... I mean, harmonic convergence. Before I go, I have to ask - which ones should we fear most, the Grays, the Reptilians, or the Nordics?
