If I may. A cardinal cross is an astrological configuration that doesn't have any measurable, demonstrated, factually supported, or otherwise valid effect on anything here on earth. To think that the position of the planets can in any way, shape, or form lead to any geophysical outcome on this planet completely ignores the product of a couple of thousand years of scientific endeavor. Stormer, there are more things under the sun than even the most stubborn scientists can imagine.

Someday, these will rediscover what their predecessors understood, but they will have to find a new name for it. It would be hard to write grant proposals using traditional language, would’t it!

Perhaps a little research will turn up some of the more contemporary terms....
