Ok you can flame me but this idea really comes from my lovely wife.
Biden resigns immediately
Harris becomes VP and appoints Gaven Newsom to be her new VP.
This nullifies the recall and secures his female Lt Gov as California new leader.
Dems guarantee continued power in Kalifornia
The new regime gets the usual grace period of celebration, love and kisses.
Doesn’t there have to be an election for VP?
I don’t think they can install a VP without 51 votes in the senate. I could be wrong.
Read the Constitution - both can’t be from same state.
Substitute Romney and you might be on to something.
A white guy as the follow on VP? Unlikely IMO.
Never going to happen. The only way Biden leaves the WH early is toes up.
Didn’t know that. Thx
My OUIJI board says...
Like that means anything to those folks lmao

Its not so much of a question of being wrong or right when the constitution and our laws don’t seem to matter to one side. They don’t abide by constraints. They do pretty much whatever they want.
It’s Romney we’re taking about. He’s a useful white guy for the dims.
Don’t be mistaken, Democrats still hate Romney.
American Psycho goes to DC
We could do worse and probably will.
I hear the Grim Reaper would accept the job too.

A President Harris could nominate Newsom to be VP, but then both Houses of Congress would have to confirm him by majority vote.
I can see such a thing happening. But it would benefit Newsom much more than it would benefit Harris. So I wouldn’t bet on it.

What is this Constitution thing to which you are referring? Yes, we used to have one back in the day but its since been abrogated. /sarc
Gerald Ford was installed as Richard Nixon's Vice President without an election after Spiro Agnew resigned. Ford then placed Nelson Rockefeller in the VP spot after Nixon resigned and he took over the presidency. The appointment does have to be confirmed by Congress (maybe other here can provide the details on that part of the process.)
But he’s still white and very privileged.
They’re all the same. Get rid of them all. Now!
