Get Thee to the Path!
The Sun Also Rises Radio Show ^ | 10 August 2017

Posted on 08/10/2017 11:58:04 AM PDT by Thistooshallpass9

When the sun came up on May 28 in the year 585 BCE, the Medes and Lydians were still at war. They had been at each other’s throats for years, and it looked like there was no end in sight for their conflict. But something extraordinary happened on the battlefield that day, which changed everything. This episode also features an interview with Dr. Fred Espenak, an astrophysicist, and scientist emeritus at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center.

Will they cease with the BCE stuff?

We all know how it is measured anyway.

They're pandering to you. You're supposed to feel empowered. Or something ...

It was overcast that morning and the maids and lesbians were not yet at war.

Get it right.

BCE = "Before the Communist Error"

Prior to that time the whole world was Laissez-Faire/Free Market.

It's worse than that, actually. BCE stands for "Before COMMON Era" and CE stands for "COMMON Era". The people who came up those abbreviations wanted to be "inclusive" since the CHRISTIAN calendar is used worldwide by many non-Christians, so they are trying to delete any reference to Christ from it.

And yep, I will never use their newspeak. I also sick to death of conservatives using the media assigned color schemes (usually its the same conservatives who cry over the confederate flag being associated with slavery and don't realize the irony when they say "we can't let the media define symbols for us!") Everytime some conservative says stuff like "we need to make Illinois a RED state", I respond back "its already a red state, its run by freakin' communists"

I know what the intellectual elites, in trying to delete Christ from all things, intended for BCE and CE. But I am turning it back to what it has always been and should be in the future. Sooo Back to the future Before Christ Era and Christ Era is what those initials stand for.

I just stick with the original. You can't go wrong with Before Christ and Anno Domini

Oh, I know what it means, but there’s nothing “common” about Christianity.

True, True. But it is fun to piss off the Libtards by using their own stuff against them. Need to find fun where it is available
