How do we explain the current sorry spectacle of a highly intelligent president who repeatedly makes bad choices and decisions? Make no mistake about it – President Obama has done just that. Ever pause and wonder how ostensibly perspicacious individuals can show remarkable errors in judgment? History is filled with people like this, proving repeatedly intelligence is no guarantee of good judgment and decision-making. Why?

I’m sorry, but intelligence is as intelligence does. I’ve not seen this President do a single intelligent thing. I’ve not seen evidence of a single intelligent thing he did prior to being elected president.
This whole myth of an intelligent Obama is a whole-cloth fabrication by the leftist media, along with every other superlative that they invented for him. Obama is nothing more an the invention of the media. And there’s not a single iota of evidence to contradict this view.
I think he believes it; I suspect, like another poster, that his academic credentials tell a very different story. I also suspect that he has been told his entire life that he is very special and that he "doesn't test well" and that tests such as the SAT "don't do a good job of measuring the type of intelligence you have" and other, similar nonsense.
He seems to believe that he is so much more intelligent than the rest of us that we are not really capable of comprehending just how intelligent he is and how good and wise his decisions are. That, of course, is the only reason why we don't line up to bow down and kiss his feet.

“Highly intelligent’’. Barack Obama intelligent? I’ve known dogs and cats that were smarter than this guy. Does anyone remember during the campaign when he visited MT. Rushmore and made the comment about how he wondered how they filmed that scene from “North by Northwest’’? He had to be told it was done in a studio. And lets not forget the ‘’57 states’’ bit.
The kid ends up occupying a hospital bed when he could have just used a breathalyzer- I mean an inhalaltor[sic]-ah-er-uh. Or words to that effect. He was totally lost, had no idea what he was saying.
Not only did he not know what he was saying, he didn't know what he was talking about, either!
Not only is he not intelligent, he also is an admitted drug abuser (who probably has some residual damage), a brainwashed marxist (from his decades of being mentored by frank davis and “rev” wright and a person who has incredibly bad judgment (i.e., marrying mooch-elle). Is there anyone who has ever existed who is more of a loser than this so-called president???? Really!

And yes, it is very telling that once TOTUS broke down, he had no clue what he was even reading.
It is one thing to read from a teleprompter, but he was reading without comprehension. He was reading like a robot, saying the words without understanding what they mean or even the point of the speech.
He had not read it in advance and really didn’t care what was written. He was going to say whatever popped up.
This is a major point that pushes him past Carter as the worst president ever.
He is not even a real President. I don’t really know what he is, kind of like a blank placeholder or something.
The guy is definitely below average in intelligence, competence, and maturity. And he doesn’t anything at all about his job or about America.
