B.S. - If you are a mail carrier, you DELIVER the mail unless there’s a DARN good safety issue (unshoveled snow/ice; really broken stairs; no box...)
If you bring mail back to the office because folks are ‘gay’, you’ll be sent right back out and then written up for it.
This is B.S.
Being “gay” should have nothing to do with mail delivery. What was a city neighborhood now looks like a rural street and there don’t seem to be any visible obstructions. The guys shouldn’t have to move to accommodate the post office.
No excuses, mail dude.
I guess they want to sue where they think the most money is.
The Post office loses $8 billion a year
I agree. I did this job for four years while in college and afterwards. If you brought stuff back in more than once (often on a new route you could not find a house) they were all over us. I cannot imagine it’s changed that much.
My guess is they want the mail put somewhere other than where the receptacle is. For example, the want to use a mailbox on the back porch rather than the front porch. And the letter carrier HAS to put it in the designated place every day.
Of course it’s impossible to even write about this without all sorts of double entendre. So, let’s just say it’s the gays who are mistaken here. They simply want the delivery in a manner in which the mailman cannot comply.
Of course, they were probably whiney as hell about it...so he wasn’t inclined to help them in the first place.
I said they think. I did not say they were smart.
OK, so then sue the federal government for billions of dollars and ask for special privileges such as Sunday delivery for all gays.
Just to be fair. When a bake shop refused to make a cake for the carpet munchers, all hell broke loose.
Yup. It’s effing’ sickening even to read ESPN with this faggot love for Sam hogging the news.
Just my .02, I worked at a mail processing center. I f a mail carrier has reason to believe delivering mail in a particular area is unsafe, because of crime, vicious dogs, etc, they can lodge complaints with their supervisors. however, one thing that’s absolutely NOT tolerated whether it’s the carrier, clerks, mail handlers, or management is destroying and/or tampering with the mail in any way. The postal inspectors will be alerted and before long it typically results in automatic termination, as well as possibly facing charges of delaying the mail, a federal offense.
My wife was a carrier supervisor for for a number of years. Any carrier not delivering designated mail better have a real good reason...either the delivery area is blocked (snow, etc.) or it is a danger to the carrier (loose nasty dogs, other pets). No other reasons are tolerated. Certainly not because of the sexual orientation of the addressees.
Or is it? It just might backfire.Trying to defraud the US Government can get you a long stretch in Indiana...or Colorado...or Connecticut...or,well you get the idea!
Really!
Mail addressed to:
I. Ben Dover, and
Phil McCracken
HOAX!!!! Calling it
and how does the mailman know they are gay exactly?
lolz
That's just in operating expenses. They lose about one or two packaged addressed to me every year and countless letters.
But the junk mail is always the first thing in the box.
All of his points are valid so if it takes this couple, regardless of their sexual preferences, to claim the mail isn't being delivered because they're gay in order to get the lazy ass mail carrier down to their mailbox, then I say bravo to them!
And I also give them and their neighbors credit for trying to maintain their homesteads when everything around them has gone to hell........
