This happened to me on SR 41 in Tampa on Monday March 24th. This pathetic excuse for a human being tailgated me for about three minutes. After about a minute, and me shaking my head, I pulled out my phone and started recording. I couldn't move over because there were trucks in the right lane, and I sure as heck wasn't going to speed on a rainy day with the roads being as slick as they were. I was turning left in about a half-mile when this happened. Now bear in mind, that this guy had already passed a truck in a left turn lane, was tailgating and driving recklessly on a wet slick road, wasn't paying attention, and all in all being an ignorant ass. Not once was I mouthing off, I never brake checked him, and in fact until I watched the video after the accident I didn't even know he shot a bird at me because I wasn't looking at him at all, I was paying attention to the road while holding the phone up with my right hand. I've recorded circumstances like this before, catching idiots doing stupid things, but never ever had this happen.
He initially fled the scene of the accident, but thanks to this video he has been caught and charged. Massive props to the Sheriffs Department and most especially the Highway Patrol who responded to the scene. This moron could have easily killed somebody with his moronic behavior, and my laughing at the end would have been replaced with tears. Needless to say though, I've never seen Karma come back so fast.

WOW! I go to work and come back to over 600,000 views and find it's on theblaze.com and various other media sites. I'm flabbergasted! (love for an excuse to use that word). I'm also a little saddened and shocked at some of the comments. After the umpteenth death threat and billionth time being called a b!#$h/c$%t/whore/slut/add whatever epithet you want... I am extremely amazed at how rude people are.
Apparently people seem to think that they were right there and know exactly what was going on. You weren't there. You don't know what happened other than the truth that I told. And apparently I did get a comment of someone who he had done this same thing to... thank you for that.
I appreciate the comments of those that, even if they disagreed with me, they didn't resort to bullyish behavior, they stated their response and I respect that. To those that wished death upon me, I truly hope your life isn't as miserable as you portray online. Because some of those comments belong to people that belong in a psycho ward, or at the very least, anger management/therapy. They were rude, uncalled for, and just downright mean.
So because of those hateful warmongers, I have disabled all commenting on this video. Have fun talking about me in your forums, and on Reddit, or wherever else you talk smack on. Just know... I won't be there. I think my ears are itching... somebody must be talking about me. Where's my Q-Tip?

Nope. He accelerated and swerved in front of her to cut her off after flipping her the bird. In the process he wound up losing control of his vehicle.
She didn't hit him, she didn't swerve into him, she didn't change lanes. Explain how he went from the right lane flipping her the bird, to crossing in front of her vehicle in an attempt to cut her off, and into the median through any action she performed. Unless she took over the controls of his vehicle, he is 100% responsible for his predicament.
Conservatives are supposed to place blame on the proper party. She needs to be ticketed for impeding traffic and likely inattentive driving for holding up the cell phone and recording while driving, but he is the only one responsible for his actions behind the wheel that caused his wreck.

This post is a perfect example of the irrationality of many on this thread.
She was following the rules of the road, driving the speed limit, not inordinately slow. But he was breaking the law by speeding, by tailgating and with reckless driving that ended up in him losing control of his vehicle and crashing in a single car wreck.
Ok, let me clear this up. If you watch the vid Just before
he looses control the driver holding the camera swerves to the right while speeding up. Then she hits the break as the
trucks rear end is sliding to the right. What happened was
as he went to pass her and change lanes she speeds up and
catches his bumper causing the truck to loose traction and
skid out of control. Cops use this maneuver all the time.
She’s crapping her pants that’s why she’s silent while the
truck is skidding into the ditch and her voice sounds
shaky afterwards. Then she stops to look and laugh at the
wreck she caused and probably to check her car for damage.
If this is not what happened then tell me how the truck
went into a skid. If you listen you can hear her car
accelerate while the camera is pointing up while he is trying
to pass. Simple as that.
I’ve read it and explained it twice: The post clearly states that the speed limit was 70 and the driver was doing 70. So, the driver was doing the speed limit - the maximum speed.
Some of you seem to believe that the speed limit doesn’t apply to the passing lane. But it does. You’re supposed to obey the speed limit in the passing lane, too. The police tend to look the other way, but if a cop is riding behind you, you might want to check your speed. I was pulled over once for exceeding the speed limit in a passing lane.

I was traveling south at about 75 mph when I came upon a guy in the far left lane doing about 70. Speed limit is 70. There’s 3 lanes. I stayed on the guy’s a-ss for about 2 miles. I flashed him twice, nothing. I didn’t want to haul balls, but he was starting to get all kinds of cars backing up. He had 2 lanes available to his right. Normally, I’ll keep it at 78-80 to keep the flow going. This guy wouldn’t move. Finally, I turned my lights on, he began to pull over to the left, I motioned -—> and he got the hint, started moving over, got into the ‘slow’ lane, I turned my lights off, got into the middle lane and continued about my business.
Read post 171 again, those are all cops, and they explain the reason that laws are having to be passed so that they can fine those people who are determined to hold up traffic in the fast lane and cause dangerous conditions and road rage, and who break up traffic flow and cause massive numbers of lane changes as people have to pass them on the right and try to maneuver past them. If people come up on me in the fast lane, I get out of that lane whether I am doing the speed limit, less than the speed limit but still legal, or even exceeding the speed limit. It isn't my place to impose my ego on the fast lane and interfere with the driving of dozens, or hundreds, or thousands of people.
If he had room to pass her on the right, then she had room enough to move to the right. She provoked it.

Exactly my thinking too. There are no good guys here, they are both a-holes. Real justice would have been her crashing after she hoots in triumph at his crashing.
Both are jerks.
That guy’s attitude, that he won’t do the legal thing and move to the right to let the traffic flow smoothly, is SO indicative of the Left’s thuggish attitude that wants to control everybody.
Really weird to see so-called conservatives be so thuggish!

I agree. She sped up as he was attempting to get into the left lane while nearing a car in front of him in the R lane causing him to turn harder to the left resulting in the crash.
The fact she laughs and gloats about it belies her intentions. And she’s a liar too. She said she was turning left in half a mile but she’s doing 50 mph and the video is 1:54, that’s nearly two miles. And she’d already been blocking him before starting the video.
She’s a rolling Left lane road block and an aggressive driver evidenced by her acceleration when he’s passing which is illegal in some states and countries.
Three minutes, 55 mph, etc. almost three miles in the left lane before the left turn.
It turns out, you're correct. She admits to speeding up (claiming the speed limit increased) in this interview on yahoo this morning.
