I do not see how she did anything wrong or illegal or dangerous.

There is no passing lane in Florida (I looked it up to see what people are talking about).

Everyone defending the buffoon who can’t even drive his car without losing control has misrepresented the passing lane or keep right laws as somehow being an abrogation of speed limit laws, which they are not.

In fact, where there are such laws it can be if one is driving 10 mph slower than the speed limit they must not be in the passing lane.

There are no laws saying a person driving at the speed limit in the left lane must change lanes to allow a car traveling substantially faster than the speed limit to pass.

The flow of traffic laws also do not abrogate speed limits.

Personally I do think in rural areas on two lane highways that a car going the speed limit should let cars behind that are going reasonably over the speed limit pass.

I drive 75 in the rain all the time on I-37 near Corpus Christi. Drive about 45,000 miles a year. Never spun out.

Likely because you are not suddently accelerating and swerving in front of other vehicles, but that is just a guess on my part.

I was traveling south at about 75 mph when I came upon a guy in the far left lane doing about 70. Speed limit is 70. There’s 3 lanes. I stayed on the guy’s a-ss for about 2 miles. I flashed him twice, nothing. I didn’t want to haul balls, but he was starting to get all kinds of cars backing up. He had 2 lanes available to his right. Normally, I’ll keep it at 78-80 to keep the flow going. This guy wouldn’t move. Finally, I turned my lights on, he began to pull over to the left, I motioned -—> and he got the hint, started moving over, got into the ‘slow’ lane, I turned my lights off, got into the middle lane and continued about my business. I think the guy was perplexed as WTF just happened.

Wha-? That was written by a police officer?

I can tell him why the driver was staying at 70. He was thinking: "Oh, no, there's a cop car behind me. I'd better not go over the speed limit. I don't want a ticket." That's why the driver was going 70 and no more.

Once I came across a line of cars going slow on the highway. I sped past, not realizing they all were driving behind a cop and the speed limit was 45. (Doh!) I slowed down, but not below the speed limit. The first thing the officer said when he pulled me over was: "Let me ask you a question - When you saw me, and you slowed down, why didn't you slow down to the speed limit?"

I have had tailgaters too and it was not me at fault but the stupid idiot who wants you to get out of his way even though the lane next to him is empty.

Read what you just quoted, the cop wasn’t upset at the man doing only 70, he was upset because the man was doing it in the wrong lane, and causing a dangerous traffic situation.

Some you can others you can’t.

I-45 north of Houston, between Huntsville and Houston, was built wrong.

It wasn’t crowned and when it settled the middle of the road was lower than the outer edges.

The middle of the road would have about 1/2” of water when it rained.

It says the speed limit was 70 mph, and the driver was doing 70. A speed limit applies to the whole road, not just the right lane.

Yes, we all drive a little bit over the speed limit. I’m just as guilty. But, with a cruiser behind him, the driver might’ve been worried about getting a ticket. Just sayin’.

Drive like a man? What exactly does that mean? Run off the road? Weave in and out of traffic?

I am not sure what you mean.

Men drive using the rules of the road. This woman was driving like an old lady on her way to Bingo.

Pretty much like the guy in this video was driving.

And I might suggest that the man in the video was NOT driving using the rules of the road.

Tailgating? Not the rules of the road.
Drawing even and flipping the bird? Not the rules of the road.
Madly accelerating and swerving in front of the lady? Not the rules of the road.
Spinning out and hitting stuff going backwards in the median? Not the rules of the road. But hilarious (given no injuries to anyone).

What are you talking about?

For the second time, read the post, read what you quoted from the post, he was in the wrong lane for his driving, the cop wanted him to move over to a different lane.

If you’re impeding traffic you are a camper. Unless you have a badge and are working traffic.

“I don’t think you are rational enough to have a discussion.”

No discussion necessary. I’m right your wrong and that’s it.
End of discussion.

Scofflaw! Bet you vote twice. Wish I was so important. Maybe you are a hypocrite. A nation of laws, you don’t seem to think so. Problem with the ‘Lawful Speed Limit’ - see your legislative body. Maybe make traffic laws capital offenses.

“She caused no wreck. She maintained her speed, and her lane.”

Nope. Your wrong. She caused the wreck. The video clearly
shows it if you look close enough. Need some Windex? She
sped up when he tried to pass her and he flipped her off
for it.
Clearly any normal person can see it.
