The Glaring Differences Between Palin & Perry Posted on August 19 2011 - 9:14 AM - Posted by: Stacy Drake After his announcement last weekend, Rick Perry’s record has come under considerable scrutiny from the media and the blogs. One of the most notable items of discussion has been about an executive order that Perry signed, mandating young girls to receive the HPV vaccine known as Gardasil. It was so controversial that the Texas State Legislature stepped in and repealed the law just weeks after Perry had pushed it through.Tuesday evening, Michelle Malkin published a very detailed column about Perry’s...

In the last several months there has not been a solid frontrunner in Republican polls for the 2012 nomination. While Mike Huckabee and Mitt Romney have been near the top, neither has been dominant. Donald Trump was able to surge last month, although where his polls go now is unclear. With much of the attention reverting away from him, he may see a dip in his vote share. And it appears that may have already happened-- and Sarah Palin has picked up the slack. Palin has reduced her profile over the last several months, cutting back on public speaking events....

The New York Sun has an article today called “Sarah Palin for the Fed?” in which they discuss how the former governor of Alaska and 2008 vice-presidential candidate has been running rings around all of Barack Obama’s high-priced, high-powered, ideologically impeccable financial men: “The big question as Chairman Bernanke gets set for his first quarterly press conference is how Sarah Palin was able to figure out sooner than everyone else that the Federal Reserve’s campaign of quantitative easing wouldn’t work. Disappointment in the Fed’s policies is being reported this morning at the top of page one of the New York...

Over the weekend, the New York Sun took a shot at Ben Bernanke and a whole host of economists that ridiculed Sarah Palin for her immediate criticism of the Fed’s second round of quantitative easing as inflationary and damaging to the US dollar. At the time, even the Wall Street Journal’s pages could barely contain their derision for Palin’s warning of inflation impacting food prices and eroding consumer buying power just when they were most needed for economic recovery. With the dollar tumbling and gas and food prices soaring, the Sun wonders whether we could do worse than to put...

I will go to hell and back for Sarah Palin, literally. Why? Because this woman loves America as much as I do. She wakes up everyday, works hard, and does her best to do what is right for America and her family. She is truly an eloquent, inspirational person that conveys the greatness of America and displays dutiful American exceptionalism. Though extraneous, the Liberal mainstream media despises Palin because she isn’t afraid to speak out and express her concerns with the direction this country is taking. She has the efficacy, the influence, and a spine that’s built of steel. Even...

Governor Palin must be the GOP nominee because of energy. Energy will arguably be the top issue facing America in 2012. The rise in fuel prices also brings about a rise in commodity and food prices, as those products are trucked, shipped, and flown to their destinations. I work in transportation logistics, and I can tell you first hand that fuel prices are so high, drivers for most of the carriers my account is contracted to are refusing to haul freight unless they get additional money for fuel. There are over 6,000 products made from petroleum. Here is a partial...

I am so sick and tired of hearing people say that Sarah Palin is not "Presidential". Someone, please tell me what the hell people mean when they say that? I mean, as much as I loved the guy, George W. sure as heck wasn't "Presidential". Barack Obama, the Marxist scumbag that he is, sure as hell isn't Presidential. So, please explain to me what is meant by "not Presidential". And, tell me, who in the GOP is "Presidential"? Do you have to be a Washington "insider" for a gazillion years to be "Presidential"???

Sarah wasn’t the first Palin to take on prime time — that honor goes to her oldest daughter, Bristol, who’s been a strong contender this season on ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars.” Neither Sarah nor Bristol are new to the TV spotlight. Sarah, 46, was a TV sportscaster in her 20s, after coming in third in the 1984 Miss Alaska competition. She’s now a regular contributor and analyst with Fox News. Last summer, Bristol made a cameo on ABC Family’s “The Secret Life of the American Teenager.” Asked what’s behind the Palin appeal, producers of both “Sarah Palin’s Alaska” and...

"Sarah Palin's Alaska" portrays the show's heroine as an adventure-loving wife and mother enjoying a whirlwind of activities amid spectacular settings in her home state. There are no overt clues to her future political ambitions in the first episode of the eight-part TLC documentary series that begins Sunday.

Sarah Palin is the ultimate "American Idol" politician. Plucked from relative obscurity by the McCain campaign, quickly costumed, coached and handed a set list created to play to her strengths, she leapfrogged over the traditional trajectory of a political career directly onto center stage where some viewers/voters loved her and many others didn't. So although it is unprecedented, it is not surprising that, in the aftermath of her unsuccessful vice presidential bid, Palin would quit her actual political job — governor of Alaska — to pursue a career in television, first as a commentator for Fox News and now...

I'm so sick and tired of the people saying that Sarah Palin is not ready to be President of the United States of America. They say "She is not smart enough or she doesn’t have enough experience". The founders wanted citizens to be representatives of the government. They wanted citizens to serve one or two terms and then have a new citizen come and serve. I think Sarah Palin has the qualities that George Washington needed to be President. BIOGRAPHY OF GEORGE WASHINGTON George Washington may have attended a school near his home for the first few years. Later he...

Sarah Palin may be edging closer to a 2012 presidential run, telling Fox News "I would give it a shot" if the American people think she's "the one." The former Alaska governor and 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee was in Des Moines, Iowa, Friday for the Reagan Dinner, a big GOP fundraiser in the heart of water-testing country for presidential candidates. Palin has remained coy about her ambitions, but she elaborated a bit in an interview with Fox News, attaching several conditions to the possibility of a 2012 presidential run. "If the American people were to be ready for someone...
