Well, that time has come for me. I’m leaving FR. However, I do not consider this an “opus”, as I am NOT going to use it to rehash old slights or arguments, or to give my personal opinion of what “should be done around here”. As has been so often pointed out, this is Jim Robinson’s site, and he runs it as he sees fit. Rather, all I’m going to do here is give a general reason for my departure, and say a hearty-but-sad “GOODBYE!” to all the folks here who have enriched my life in the past four years....

In the fevered early days after their world spun off its axis and raced off to deep space, the Looney Left desperately sought to explain W's re-election. Most of them screamed "election fraud!" and many of those fell under the spell of one Bev Harris. This blogging Pied Piper claimed credentials sufficient to expose the insidious right wing plot to hijack the country forever through rigged electronic voting machines. She made big promises and convinced many to contribute funds to the effort to "save" democracy. She didn't deliver. It's no surprise these red meat lefties would fall for this charlatan....

Hi everybody! I'm new to Free Republic and I really love the site!! Its so refreshing to find like minded people on the internet. I am from rural Oregon. Anyway, I just want to say " I love Bush!" He is incredible. I can't wait to get my next tax cut in the mail... I only got 150 or so dollars back the first time, but its nice to know I'm getting money back AND we've got the BIGGEST military machine in the history of the planet!
